Sorry for the rant as this it not about a particular scam just a general observation.

As I surf around the Internet clearly scams run on the Internet is the majority of the websites. If you think about it a scam like Google Profit Kit or Anthony Morrison running around doing 2 or 3 scams and registering hundreds of domain names just so they can get your money. These websites are getting stupid, it’s getting to the point that you can not trust anything you read on the Internet including this article itself.

Millions of Websites

With millions upon millions of websites on the Internet why are so many of them created for illicit deeds. So we have the scam sites and we have the adult sites, that is probably 80% of the sites (Remember 76% of all statistics are made up). So if one day someone would crack down and take down the fraud, phishing, scam, and other illicit sites I would imagine we could see an increase in network performance.

Internet Authority on What the Hell are you Doing

If we go with that then lets just go out on a limb and say that we could fix the economy without having to print 700 billion dollars just by stopping the scams and phishing damages. Why don’t we work on that and get it done. I propose a new branch of the government and we will call them “Internet Authority on What the Hell are you Doing”. They will go around and police every single site on the Internet and decide if the site is valid or not.

Censorship

Wait a damn minute we can not do that because that would be censorship so we must find another way to limit the way scams proliferate around the Internet. Viral campaigns hurts us even more before we can control anything it’s already spread to millions.

Hiring for something

So why do we not take all these scammers and create a new company that can do something good for people. These scammers are absolutely brilliant they can market, deploy and support the fronts they create so well they must have great skills both personal and business skills why can we not find something else for them to do so that our money is safe. What can we find them to do?

Conclusion

As I said these are my observations and now I want yours. Every now and then you will find that I go off the deep end with frustrations. This is one of those times, most of my loyal readership already knows this. Weigh in and let me know how you feel. Or would you like it if the scam sites were removed from the Internet? Can you trust what you read? How do you decide what is trustworthy?

Another way to make millions on the internet

GoogleProfusion, TwitterProfusion and ProfitProfusion another scam that is trying to fleece you out of your money by saying you can make over a $100 grand in 6 months as long as you have a computer and can do a Google search or post on Twitter. Give me a break already the 10 Signs of a Scam are broken. So lets look at who is behind this grand scheme. When we go to these sites its pretty hidden on who is behind it, until we go to the SSL certificate information, which appears to be owned by JMHMedia. All of these sites are using the same SSL certificate and are hosted on the same hosts (an email has been sent to the hosting provider asking if they approve of the scam). These domains promise that they will send you the information for $3.98, after 3 days charge you $60.00 dollars the same scams as all these make money with google and twitter scams

So now that we know who is behind it via the SSL certificate lets look at more JMHMedia properties. By doing some lookups on domains and reverse IP lookups we can find a few more domains that are run by JMHMedia. For example JMHMedia was (the site has been taken down) running the myspacebar.com domain which seems to be responsible for the Scam.MySpaceBar program which was a tool bar that would steal your account information. If you use site advisor you will notice the problems with this domain. Okay strike one.

JMHMedia was also working at trying to sell a MySpace account generator which would automatically create accounts and detects the captcha. Strike two as we have myspace spam, we probably have twitter spam as well but I have not found it. Or maybe this scammer is just stuck in the early 2000′s.

JMHMedia has a support number of 877-570-6874 by searching this number we are looking for other sites that are using this number and we find www.googleinfinitude.com which is promising the same things as googleprofusion.com. So I am willing to say this is another JMHMedia profit center.

WOW I can make millions on Twitter!

A few other properties we find seems to be that he wants to use this money he is fleecing from you to try to create legit business however its not looking good. He has registered nzb.net which is supposed to be based around torrents and legal P2P sharing as well as Rhever.com he has a press release around this site, and claims that he is going to kill bittorrent. That’s a very tall order.

JMHMedia does an okay job at covering up who they are but they messed up because they registered the main domain jmhmedia.com under the name of .

JMHMediaLLC
Michael Jacob Heinz jheinz@gmail.com
909-967-6150
12672 Limonite Ave
Suite 3E #334
Corona, CA 92880 US

This address appears to also be a mail drop because sites like bcscouting.com also uses the address with a different number. This site does not appear to be a JHMMedia property.

Lets go over a few more domains that this clown owns.

cardbing.com – which is another promotion trying to get you to enter some information to get a 500 dollar gift card provided you do several different required advertising clicks and signups. For example sign up for a credit card. This is the normal Free give-away scam.

tgoms.com – which at this poitn is a nothing domain but could be used later and just being held. It’s also possible that the domain has already been used.

videoindex.com – JMHMedia is trying to sell this domain for $6000 dollars, of couse the stats do not support the number but we are digging into this site a bit more too.

gotjenna.com – he is trying to sell this domain and truepage.com. He is using the gotjenna domain to point to the affiliate section of ClubJenna which of course is Jenna Jameson’s affiliate program.

Watch out for this guy as he may just be getting started. If you find more about this please post it in the comments section so we can keep this one up to date.

When we first started paying attention to the Anthony Morrison programs (Advertising Profits from Home and Hidden Millionaires) we figured he was alone and just trying to get a few dollars. However after more research and really paying attention to what is going on it seems he is not alone.

In the Advertising Profits from Home infomercial we see Anthony Morrison talking to Donald Barrett which seems to be okay right and he seems to be the host of the infomercial, well its possible he may be the puppet master with Anthony Morrison being the puppet.

Donald Barrett seems to be the protege of Kevin Trudeau, they have been partners in some scams and have had a few problems.

Lets just look at Kevin Trudeau’s criminal history and legal proceedings (WikiPedia).

1990 – 91 Larceny and credit card fraud. He posed as a doctor to deposit 80 grand in false checks. Used credit cards of customers (that means your credit card) to charge over 122 grand He spent 2 years in federal prison

1996 – SEC goes after them for Nutrition for Life, Illinois sued for an illegal pyramid scheme, Michigan forbade them from operating in the state and a class action lawsuit from the stock holders of Nutrition for Life. 2 million dollars was awarded in the class action

1998 FTC fined Kevin Trudeau $500,000 because of false or misleading statements in infomercials

2004 FTC contempt of court and injunction against Shop America, Shop America Marketing Group and Trustar Global Media alleging that disease related claims for Coral Calcium Supreme were false. He of course violated the injunction

2005 Kevin Trudeau filed a complaint against the FTC due to a press release. Also filed a lawsuit against the New York Consumer Protection Board because they where sending letters to television stations trying to get the commercials pulled

2008 FTC filed a contempt of court against the companies that market “The Weight Loss Cure ‘They’ Don’t Want You to Know About” alleging that Trudeau was in contempt of a 2004 court order by “deceptively claiming in his infomercials that the book being advertised establishes a weight-loss protocol that is ‘easy’ to follow.”

Well that covers Kevin Trudeau it seems lets look at Donald Barrett

2004 Barrett got a letter from the Food and Drug Administration warning him that Supreme Greens was being marketed as an unlicensed drug with false and misleading claims (sound familiar?)

2004 FTC filed a lawsuit alleging that Direct Marketing Concepts, ITV Direct and the president Donald W. Barret had deceptively marketed Supreme Greens and Coral Calcium Daily (wow sound familiar?). They claimed it could prevent, treat, and cure cancer, heart disease, arthritis, and diabetes.

2008 federal judge ruled that the two infomercials for Supreme Greens and Coral Calcium Daily was in fact deceptive and that the owners are liable for the restitution of $54 million dollars.

Those two sound like they are working hard at the same thing and selling the same products. Well guess what Anthony Morrison is using Donald Barrett for his infomercials that scares the hell out of me and it should you. Of course it seems the original scam artist for Coral Calcium was Robert Barefoot who is also an associate of Kevin Trudeau (see the Coral Calcium post). If you think your credit card is safe in the hands of these people you are mistaken. So when is the Coral Calcium commercial coming out for Anthony Morrison? Only time will tell.

I just seen this infomercial this morning and the infomercial right away knocked out about 5 of the 10 Signs of a Scam, promises of fast money, the offer ends soon, fast cars, wine and women. After doing a little research (I am not complete with it) I see he will charge you 39.95 a month for the next 12 months and the terms of service say you can cancel during the first 30 days and after that you seem to be on the hook for 12 months.

Other information shows “You start with a small purchase price of the initial material, $54.95 with shipping included. What you receive in the mail is useless and they give you a number to call so they can upsell a larger package based on what ‘you’ want to make per month. Of course, what you ‘invest’ is related to how much you can sink into it. They try to upsell anywhere from $5,000 to $15,000.” They will also contact you to setup merchant account which will require your Social Security Number. They will report to the credit bureau when you try to cancel.

Jeff Paul’s company has a F Rating at the BBB and you can read the FTC Press Release. I will be trying to contact every channel that plays this informercial to ask why they will show it when all these complaints are around.

You can find the case information on “Federal Trade Commission v. John Beck Amazing Profits, LLC, a California limited liability company, John Alexander, LLC, a California limited liability company, Jeff Paul, LLC, a California limited liability company, also d/b/a Shortcuts to Millions, LLC, Mentoring of America, LLC, a California limited liability company, Family Products, LLC, a California limited liability company, Douglas Gravink, an individual, Gary Hewitt, an individual, John Beck, an individual, John Alexander, an individual, and Jeff Paul, an individual (United States District Court for the Central District of California)”

So this guy is in deep and still trying to scam you out of your money. Maybe they are in need of legal defence funds.
Jeff Paul seems to be a scam or a sham, We are looking for people who have experienced Jeff Paul’s program that can give more information.

Always think about the 10 rules before you sign up for anything. These should help you protecting your assets, your identity, you sanity, and your hair. I know that times are tough but these offers will make it harder. The people who are trying to get you into this are only looking out for themselves they could care less about you.

1) Don’t assume that an ad is legit no matter what site it is on. (Even this one)

As web publishers we do not endorse the ads on the site, we do not even review the ads. We use Google Adsense so I do not even see the ads that you see to review them. They are shown from context matching on the text. In this case they are probably scams as well. Always look for print that says “Sponsored” or “Advertisement” or on this site “Ads by Google”. Even if you trust the site don’t trust the ads that appear on it. If I could investigate all the ads on this site I would venture to say that 90% of them are scams. If you know of any that show up as scams let me know I would be interested to investigate them.

2) Don’t buy into the emergency of the situation, that is pressure sales.

There is no such thing as easy and fast money or I would be doing it daily instead of writing this article. Every opportunity I know about especially around home based business requires hard work just to get a measly compensation. If you see any get rick quick text get out while you can. If they could get rick quick they would not have time to sell you the system. Remember the system is the business they are in.

3) Do not trust the use of logos

Most “opportunities” make use of logos from various companies, either news organizations or Google or even Yahoo logos get used trying to convince you that its authentic and that you can trust it. Always read the fine print. You will normally find a disclaimer saying that the logo owners do not endorse it. Also some news organizations allow informercials to be run which means the infomercial may have been run on the news organization channel. Most of these logos are used without permission and should be reported.

I did a post on Kevin Hoeffer yesterday and decided to dig deeper on who this guy is if I could. I did a Google search for him and noticed that all the pictures are different. One of them is even found to be someone else who is trying to file a lawsuit for using the picture of him and his wife on a trip in France. There are several sites claiming to be Kevin Hoeffer all of them trying to do the same thing. Get you to sign up for a scam. Each of them shows a check from Google for various amounts, each site links to a different pay site. However it seems like several of them are using ItelliPay Inc certificates. (http://www.intellipay.com/). We will be contacting each of the providers to see if they support the scam and what can be done about it because it seems to be a violation of the Acceptable Use policy.

Important: We need people who have been subject to this scam read more here Call to Action on Kevin Hoeffer

It also looks like they will buy a domain run the scam on it for a while and then attempt to sell the domain. That to is a problem to me because someone will buy the domain and automatically be associated with a scam. That makes me also wonder if Anthony Morrison is doing the same thing he is also in the business of buying and selling domains. (This will be researched further as well).

These sites started with earnfastcashwithgoogle.com and continues from there. The agreement with that site is “Offer Details: Simply click “Submit” to the right to activate your trial membership with Earn Google Cash and have instructions to start earning cash through Google! To activate your trial membership to Earn Google Cash you will be charged a $2.95 refundable processing fee and then you can immediately take advantage of the exciting savings Earn Google Cash has to offer! After your 3-day trial period it’s just 9.95 per month for Earn Google Cash. Remember, you can chat with live operator by calling (888)-541-0915 within the first 3 days to cancel, and you will not be charged. To ensure continuous service, at the end of your trial period your membership will be automatically charged each month at the then-current membership fee on or about that same date to the credit card you provide today. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, chat with a live operator, and you’ll no longer be charged. You have also unlocked a fourteen-day trial and twenty one-day trial to the Fraud Protection Resource Center and Identity Theft Protection for just $3.24 and $7.14 a month thereafter (shows as “FraudProtection” and “IdentitySecurity”) should you choose not to cancel. Prior charges for all programs are non-refundable but bonus subscriptions can be cancelled and future charges stopped at any time by calling toll-free 866-989-2684 and 866-989-2683. All offers come with a monthly newsletter.” So you can see you will be scamed out of your money and will be paying for a while.

So my topic of Kevin Hoeffer is not making money with google is this, Kevin Hoeffer is making money from you if Kevin Hoeffer even exists and is a real person. These properties seem to be run by “CoastWest Holdings Ltd” which makes it even deeper because I can find more information on them and other scams they are running like Pure Lift Cream. Maybe I should drop the whole Kevin Hoeffer thing and look at only CoastWest Holdings Ltd as they seem to be behind the majority of this.

What do you think? Stay with Kevin Hoeffer or go for CoastWest Holdings Ltd. Kevin Hoeffer is probably a dead end really as we need to go after the real people behind the scams.

I changed the photo on the previous post because we are now unsure who that is. So its just better if we use a generic photo for all his posts.

People have been hawking Coral Calcium for a while. MLM groups and other people like Robert Barefoot. Now most people are not going as far as Robert Barefoot who was claiming it would cure cancer, AIDS, and several other things for example the ones below.

“50 of 100 people cured of cancer, cured of migraine.
This stuff really works!”
“Watch a miracle happen. Just take 200 mg. in 10 minutes”
“The blind see, the deaf hear, the MS cripples get out in the sun when they take coral calcium.”
“I’ll show you blood changes in just 10 minutes”
“92% of all hysterectomies are not necessary”
“No more rectal cancer”
“It’s a miracle”
“Surgeons use it”
“Spray it on me – I will have no bugs on me”
“Spray it on plants – they will be bug free”
“It’s the magic mineral”

Lets just get a little information out about Coral Calcium. The other claims include “most absorbable Coral Calcium on the market”, “clinical grade Coral Calcium “, “Fossilized Coral Calcium “,”Sango Coral Calcium “, “Ionized Coral Calcium “, “Robert Barefoot’s formula” and so on. Some argue over who was first to bring it to America and who has the “exclusive rights”. Others suggest Coral Calcium is a “scam” on the one hand, and the “fountain of youth” on the other. However Coral Calcium is not a scam or a fountain of youth by itself.

It is an excellent source of calcium and a good percentage of people are actually low in calcium and so when these people finally absorb some great things can happen. Almost all coral calcium comes from Japan coral reefs in Okinawa, Japan. The remnants that are used a limestone which coral creates as a protective shell. Coral Reefs are protected by law so the Coral Calcium is created from materials that no longer contain live organisms.

Limestone itself has no unique health properties and its only calcium carbonate with a little magnesium and a few other minerals. Coral Calcium is very inexpensive to create and you can buy it from reputable places. I have ran across Ardyss International which is selling a coral calcium and I am sure several other MLM’s are offering Coral Calcium. Ardyss International is offering you Coral Calcium for 50 dollars a bottle while Drugstore.com is offering it much cheaper ($9.29 USD)

For further information about Coral Calcium you can read a old post from Stephen Barrett, M.D.

Kevin Trudeau is behind the infomercials that took place with Robert Barefoot. Kevin Trudeau also partnered with Donald Barrett who seems to be working on informercials with Anthony Morrison. What it looks like I need to work on is a family tree of sorts or 6 degrees of separation of all these hustlers.

We might post more on this, I actually started looking at this when my wife called me and told me about a sign that said “This weekend at the Hampton Inn come lose 3 sizes in 10 minutes”. We will get into this later but it is also a Ardyss International Distributor. I won’t call MLM in general a scam but I will say that some of them seem to sell the scam products.

You will see several sites claiming to be “Oprahs flat stomach diet” and other sites that will claim endorsements by Dr Oz. or Rachael Ray. These sites are scams, they are nothing more than trying to sell you a product based on acai berries which in themselves are not bad but the scams are horrible. You will fight forever trying to get the charges off your credit card and get the auto shipments canceled. Do not sign up for a risk free trial for any acai berry item.

If you want acai berries then get some from a reputable company. For example Walgreens has acai berry products which you can find in this search result. I do not endorse Walgreens or even the products themselves. I just want the truth to be known. Oprah, Rachael Ray, nor any of the people cited on these websites endorsed these products or comapnies. In fact they even say that on the very fine print of the websites. However they know like others that most people do not read fine print because they believe it to be just another wall of legal text.

The risk free trials that I eluded to above are not risk free at all. You are required to opt out within 14 days or you will recieve further shipments of these products. Most of these products cost around 80 dollars a month. You may also be signed up for other services with the credit card you provided. One of those known products you will get signed up for is “Ultra-Slim” this is also in the fine print. If there is one thing besides scamming a scammer knows how to do it’s protect from legal action at all cost. They will tell you they are full of it in the fine print while convicing you to purchase.Stay away from these sites at all cost here is a small sample of the sites you must avoidAcai Berry – The Natural Answer To Fast Weight Loss In 2009 (http://drozdiet-acaiberry.com/)Acai Berry Warnings (http://www.acaistruth.com/index.php)These are no doubt scams and just to prove the fine print. Read down at the bottom the fine print, it will tell you that the products are not endorsed.

There is a lawsuit pending now against 40 acai berry product companies using the names of Oprah, Dr Oz and others

If you are looking for a job that is great. A job will pay you for the work you do. If you are looking for a company or business to start from home that is awesome. Do not pay anyone for a job or a business opportunity. If you want to buy a business great buy a business but buying an opportunity is just a misfortune waiting to happen. If all these so called coaches and trainers really wanted you in to the company they would not ask you to pay.

If I want to start a home based business yes there are costs. You must file the needed paperwork with the Secretary of State, get business licenses as needed, possibly attorney costs and other costs associated but that is creating a business. If you want a business opportunity those are free you can even think those up.

When do businesses really flourish? When they meet a need for the target audience but if I am on TV trying to get your to join a business opportunity than really the real business is getting you to sign up. The business is getting your one time payment and what ever else they can get from you. It’s not making sure you do well, its not training you on how to become successful.

These business have been around forever, they are a numbers game the more people they can signup the richer they become, and these business create new business when they need more people. They suck the life and money out of good people. They laugh about it behind the backs and just put the game face on and tell you how much they want to help you.

If you get a letter in the mail or an email telling you about a conference that you did not ask for information about I would be wary. Salesmen close sales in person when they can meet your objections and tailor the deal to you if needed. Everyone hates car salesmen but these guys are doing the same thing, well except with a car salesman you get a car and not the ideas of a business that is already played out.

We will touch more on this in later posts.

In my research I am finding more and more information. Anthony has started another business of selling the idea of creating a online home business. The internet has created new ways to scam and create ponzi schemes. Its disturbing the amount of money these people rake in from unsuspecting people. We are going to start buying some of this material just to see what they get. (Of course using a virtual credit card via PayPal or a some other form of purchasing without allowing multiple purchases. If you would like to help out in this cause you can donate to the cause.

This business is buying and selling domain names. With the begining of this laws around cybersquating where created. We will get into these laws at a later date and post but you can easily find information about cybersquating. In general you can not purchase a trademarked name and demand money for it. It is very hard to find quality domain names at this time so do not even think of trying a product like this as I believe you will end up just wasting money.

This business brings in another name Anthony Battaglia .This name is mentioned on other material too. How do the same people keep buying from the same person. They are either a die hard follower of Anthony or they are in on the deal in somehow.

We will be looking at this name and seeing what we can find too.
