This will not be a quick process but I intend on offering a free intro into how to make money on the internet with your site. It should lead into Niche Blitzkrieg or maybe one day replace it as something I recommend.

This will take a while to write up but I thought I would share my plans with you. I also am intending on doing some more research and back filling some research I had already worked on as well as bringing new information about old research up.

Thanks for waiting and being patient. It will be soon.

Once again we have Mr Hansen pimping more books, this one scared me because it came on right after the nightly news. Dean Graziosi is trying to get you to birddog real estate deals for others. With matching buyers and sellers you supposedly are going to make a ton of money. What is going on?

Dean Graziosi is known for peddling books on infomercials, amazon and other random places, he has sold advice since 1999 and trust me this is not to sell you a book. Dean Graziosi started by interviewing an auto mechanic about how to inspect cars before buying. This was “Motor Millions” that was sold for $59.99 as a system to buy and sell cars to others. Apparently when he was selling this “system” he started out broke, chose to work for his father at a small car business. This business failed, however in this newest informercial he started out in real estate in his teens, and by 20 was a millionaire, and was a multi-millionaire in no time.

He will let you know he does not want to charge you over and over, so that’s good, however what he really wants is your phone number so high pressure sales calls can start about getting you into a coaching system. This is the normal real estate deal, come see my free talk and sign up in my couching system. Arizona says his business is horrible with a F rating, remind you of other “systems” we have talked about in the past?

Dean Graziosi claims to have found a $525,000 house walked the property, did not get an inspection or anything just bought it as is for a near full price offer, this seems like bad advice because the buyer after you will want an inspection. Would you buy a house without an inspection? Not unless I am a contractor or builder would I do that.

When Dean Graziosi was pitching these offers in the mid 2000′s he wanted people to take out high risk loans and pack on debt that would make me scream. Right now he is claiming people should buy foreclosures and rent them out. Great but what about the fact that most foreclosures are in depressed areas that values have really fallen. He pitches using a website to get a value of a house, but it might not notice that the area is depressed, so without knowing the real value it’s stupid.

Apparently others have had a hard time contacting the “mentors” that they bought over the phone for $2000.00 bucks, this is ridiculous. We have all the warning signs about staying away from these deals, Infomercial, Testimonials about making $80,000 to $100,000 dollars right away, people claiming to be millionaires now just using this system and only making 5 or 10 deals.

With well over 200 websites pitching this propaganda it’s something to be wary about.

Brandy Smith posted the following question on Crush LLC, Crush Direct Response, TMP Nevada Scam Entity and I feel that it’s one that I will just answer in a blog post instead of the comments.

“Matt, I don’t get it. I’m on the scamtimes.com site as a result of research regarding quickprofitkit.com. I read all the complaints. One in particular, from gulliblenoutofwork, provides a link to news6alerts.com. The way it appears, it’s an article produced by a news organization to warn people against online scams. However, that is not the case-it is simply another advertisement for yet another scam. What is the deal???
Also, your reply to gulliblenoutofwork contains terms and conditions for WHAT? Are you actually pushing a different “online opportunity”? I’m afraid to even click on the Niche Blitzkrieg Review link, so I won’t. By the way, you have a typo in the last paragraph: “build A okay money stream”. I would never sign up for anything that has typos or uses improper grammar.”

The link to news6alerts.com is not a news entity and they are not trying to warn people against online scams. They are pushing a scam that is now called “Mass Online Income”. Many of these programs have been renamed due to the Google v Jesse Willms lawsuit.

However if we just look at the news site itself we will notice two things. The first piece of text on the website is “Advertisement” and the a little further down we see “This site is not affiliated with any newspaper publication.” This is what we call a “flog” or a Fake Blog. These types of sites are the new thing when it comes to scams and have popped up all over the place. These are supposed to give the scam authority and make it seem legit, which by your comment you fell for and thought it was legit. The joy of these sites and what scams are trying to do now is they will attempt to expose another scam to push the scam they are hawking. This will give them credibility and they will attempt to ride the backs of others. Who does not trust someone who is “looking out for them” and exposing a scam or warning of the same scam they are pushing.

Okay back to “Cash at Home Kit“, you mentioned the terms and conditions I posted, you can find them here and this is the site you end up on after visiting our great news source news6alerts.com and is the first paragraph. “By submitting your credit card information, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, as set forth: By sampling our product for 1.97, you will be given a period of 3 days, from the time you place the order, to decide if you want to continue using the product. You will receive a username and password in your “Welcome” email at the time you complete your original transaction. This email will be sent to the email address provided at time of sign up. Please ensure you view your “Junk” email folders to find your email with this important information as your filters may put it there. The username and password will allow you access to the website that will be the fulfillment of the program. This will allow you to immediately access the website and begin your exploration of knowledge with the hope of obtaining a more secure financial future through the tools offered. You can cancel at any time during the 3 day trial period by unsubscribing at Contact Us with no further obligations. In the event you do not cancel within 3 days after you order your trial product, you will be your credit card will be automatically charged 179.40 for access to the website. Limit of one trial sample per household. If, at any time thereafter, you wish to cancel, you may unsubscribe at Contact Us with no further obligations. Please take the time to read our complete Terms and Conditions below before continuing.”

This is the type of site you have to stay away from. They will rip you off and they plan on it.

Now you brought up Niche Blitzkrieg and that is a good question, you accused me of pushing an “online opportunity” which would be incorrect so let me just explain what is going on. I am not pushing Niche Blitzkrieg as a get rich quick scheme the only reason I even reviewed it was for this very reason, everyone who comes to this site is or was looking for an online business and either was scammed or almost scammed. After exposing several programs I got several people who wanted me to stop being negative and find some positive reviews. Find one that will work for people. So I set out to do that.

Niche Blitzkrieg was the best one I found, the creator is honest, the terms are fair, the cost is a little high, but now he is giving a trial (which I don’t really like because of the other programs that uses trials are not normally legit) so people can see if it works for them. You can see this as pushing if you want, and yes I get a couple bucks when someone purchases Niche Blitzkrieg from this site and that is to be expected. However I use the program, I like the program, and I feel it is good for others as well.

This program will not tell you that you will get rich, it measures success in creating small sites that make $10 to $30 dollars a month in earnings and then repeating that over and over to build a decent income stream. My review of this program is fair and it is up to you if you want to read it or not.

Personally it does not mater to me one way or another. I write this blog to help people, but you can only help people who want to help themselves. My typo and grammar does not matter in the greater scheme of things as my income while affected by people buying Niche Blitzkrieg does not depend on it. I work a 9 to 5 at an international company who is continuing to do good so I am comfortable. I do not expect to make much money on the internet however I do enjoy the beer money that the internet brings me. Or the ability to buy a new microphone for my podcast and odds and ends that I do not have to use my other money for.

If you have any more questions let me know!

Fake Google Check used on over 50 sites

I was looking back over some notes and noticed some remarks about Google hiring people to work at home and to be honest they are starting to bore me they all show the same checks with the same types of text and to be honest the search engine optimization on these pages is pretty good. All these Google scams are the same and I see two major players in the market today on these scams and they are Just Think Media, and Pacific WebWorks.

We have seen these scams shown on a couple of fake news sites such as the Los Angeles Tribune I am pretty sure this page never scammed anyone from LA because the LA paper is the Los Angeles Times, also I found the Weekly Reports which does a news article from Mike Childers what a joke because the email for Mike Childers goes to Tom Chiltin oops we have a problem here.

Mike Richardson Lives in Winston Salem, NC

So we go over the story of good old Mike Richardson who conveniently lives in the same neighborhood as you. For my computer it shows that he lives in Winston Salem, NC as we can see in the screenshot on the left. So this is great he is married and lost his job as a boring account rep for a manufacturing company. And now he makes around $5000 to $7000 dollars scamming you I mean using the “Google Master” program and all he had to do is post the links that Google gave him. Apparently “Google hass been making people rich overnight” (spelling mistake is not mine, I am sure I have others) and “been helping people to work from home and give them new jobs”

These Google Scams are all the same we want you to pay us a few pennies so you can get rich and make so much money you can scam others. The steps they want you to take are identical to the Kevin Hoeffer scams except they are now for the “Google Master” Scam, except we are getting desperate for people who are desperate because now they claim they will send you the first check in about 48 hours. Holy cow I can make $1500 dollars in 48 hours! Sign me up for this great Google scam!

Another Scam from Pacific Web works aka Mike Richardson

So I run downstairs to tell my wife (this is a blog I can write fiction right?) and I show it to her on my iPhone and now “Mike Richardson is from ,” oh no he moved that quickly out of my neighborhood so I run back and up and the my computer shows him from Winston Salem. Okay that was all BS I know what is going on I just wanted to see what it would be like to be able to write fiction about working for “Google Master” and scamming people out of millions. You can see the iPhone screenshot on your right and there is no city listed that is because they are using IP Detection and Geolocation so they can bring this closer to your door step to make you create an association. Remember in sales there are a few fundamentals and that is overcoming objections, make associations, and build a trust factor, the last part of sales is take your money and run. They try to do all of these. One other thing I noticed is that they have a coupon code that you can use with the code of CASH4ME which will always work and all you get scammed out of is $0.99 cents. They make sure to put that this is a limited number of coupons but the code is still working as of today. Easy enough just output the date. These guys are web developers after all they work for Pacific WebWorks they should be able to do anything with the internet, except make money legit.

Okay so lets look at the rest of the page and see what we come up with they have ads on the screen and they take you to a guess what? Order “Google Master” so you too can get scammed, but it takes you to a different ordering site and this one is for “Proven Google Profit System” or better known as “Google Click Money” . But these idiots never get the names right because at the bottom of the screen it says “This service is not endorsed by or affiliated with MSNBC, CNN, ABC or USA Today. Googleâ„¢ does not sponsor, endorse, and is no way affiliated with INCOME EASY STREET.” so now another company name. I wish they would just choose one so we can track them easier but then again I guess they cant scam you out of your money if they don’t change names now and then.

Lets look at the terms and conditions of both, one says NetPro Marketing terms and conditions and the other one says “*Products provided by Pacific WebWorks, Inc. and/or affiliated companies.” Â so now I wonder if that is two different companies or just one company I have not found this information yet but one claims to be out of New York and we know Pacific WebWorks is out of Utah. I am tired of trying to track them down all the time, maybe they should just get an office in Cyprus and they can hang out with Jesse Wilms and Just Think Media or they can move down south and hang out with Anthony Morrison, or maybe the damn FTC needs to get involved and shut this crap down, but I am thinking they have no teeth.

Anyways they want you to sign up and get your 7 day trial and if you want to cancel you can call “1-800-497-4988″ Â or “888-651-9818″, now I will have to say the one that we know is operated by Pacific WebWorks is a scam and we know there is hidden billing and here it is “Should You fail to cancel Your Subscription within the 7-day trial You will be billed $79.90 at the completion of the 7-day trial and every month thereafter for continued services and hosting of your Visual Webtools software unless canceled by You.” however the NetPro Marketing terms of service are just down right brutal and we should string up the person responsible for these those terms of service read

by purchasing this product, you, the buyer, agree to adhere to the trial periods as outlined on the order page, confirmation of order page, and confirmation email, which is that you are clearly indicating that you affirmatively give express informed consent to acceptance of the offer, including enrollment in the negative option programs, and that you are ordering the Click Money CD for $1.95, and are also being enrolled in the 3 day trial membership. After the 3 day trial, you will be charged a one time fee of $129.95. You will be charged $39.98 30 days later and every month thereafter if you do not cancel. You also agree to the 14 day bonus trials to Home Source Academy for $29.95 a month thereafter should you choose not to cancel

What the hell they are going to charge me after 3 days $129.95 and they are going to sign me up for another service called Home Source Academy I quit I am just going to keep working my 9 to 5. These clowns are also known for “negative option billing scams” and will take you for everything you have. I also noticed that while they claim to be refundable if you do not cancel during the 3 days you are:

In order to not be charged any future reoccurring cost, please give ample time (2 business days) to be cancelled out of any reoccurring billing system before the next scheduled charge to your account (this does not apply during any trial period). Not canceling trial programs constitutes authorization, by you, the buyer, for any charges (as outlined) for the associated bonus service until your request to cancel has been received by our customer service staff. By not canceling the bonus program during the trial period or prior to two days before a scheduled billing cycle, you agree that any reoccurring charges billed to you will be non-refundable.

So I will not get my money back once I notice they took it great just great! So anyways I could write all day on this but now I want you to write about it, post comments and let us know what you find we have to find out who NetPro Marketing is because these idiots need to be stopped. As a reminder I need your help! Scam Times is beginning to review work at home opportunities in a less conventional way, we are not only looking at the terms and conditions we are actually doing each and every opportunity we review and we will be making sure that we generate at least enough money to get our first investment back so what we need from you is two or three things. We need ideas of products to review, if your generous we could use a tip in the tip jar over on the right to help pay for some of these costs because I will be losing money on these opportunities at first and some will outright fail! So leave us your comments and if you want to suggest a work from home review or know someone who runs one let us know!

Previously we have focused only on scams and shams and we will continue down this path however we will also start writing reviews on good opportunities and try to help our readership out with what will work. So we need you to let us know what you want to see.

It can be a particular business, or just a line of work that you would be interested in working at home doing or whatever. Just post a comment and if it’s a particular opportunity leave us a link as well so we can start our review. We will also be leaving the third section in our podcast for these reviews.

So now its your turn, what do you want to see reviewed.

Kevin Hoeffer is not even the person behind the scam, he is just a made up name like Josh Parker and the several other names that are created for this great scam. So now we have to look at this, why is this scam so effective, what is the driving force that makes this scam work.

Important: We need people who have been subject to this scam read more here Call to Action on Kevin Hoeffer

Why its effective

Google is probably the greatest brands on the internet, no other company holds as much control and clout over the internet. Google can make or break a website if they so choose. So with that being the biggest brand on the internet naturally it will do two things, attract a lot of scams and shams and create trust with users. If a user sees the Google logo they are comforted in some manner and will trust the website they are on.

What you have to do

These Google scams that promise this massive amounts of money per month are just telling you to do a few things. They claim no knowledge, no skills, no anything needed (except a credit card, required for these scams because they need your money). Most of the time these scams tell you all you have to do is create a few hundred websites and put Google AdSense on them (this is the ads that I use on this site). But then you need to do two things, you have to get traffic and loads of traffic. My impression per click ratio on this site is at 1% so that means out of every hundred visitors I might make $0.10 cents. So in order for these scams to be effective you would need millions of visitors per month. Now where do you get the content that is good enough to drive millions of users?

Now you will find that you can not possibly create enough sites on the internet and have nearly enough content to drive that much traffic. Remember the duplicate content that we talked about in another post so how do you get the traffic? You will break down and start spamming the social networks, other blogs, and become an Internet nuisance. This is what you are looking at getting into for a business? I know you can find better.

Can you make money with AdSense

You sure can but it’s not fast and it’s damn sure not easy, I spend more time working on my blogs than anything else. It’s very time consuming. But we are not talking massive amounts of money, when you are first starting out you are lucky if you see a $1.00 a day but you must have traffic so you have to have great content.

Your opinion counts

What is your opinion on all this? For extra credit if you want to see almost all the domains related to this Kevin Hoeffer scams I highly recommend this reading and the research is exceptional and some comments made me laugh.

Job hunters are being scammed into giving up money for these so called “Make money with Facebook” or “Make money with Twitter” opportunities, these desperate people need jobs and at times like this I understand the need for a job and money but do not trust the hype and large promises of fast easy money. Make sure before you read the 10 Signs of a Scam so you can understand how to find the scams and shams.

According to the US Dept of Labor Statistics in August the number of unemployed is 14.9 million people. These people are looking everywhere for something and with the job market not getting much better the scams and the people running the scams are getting richer.

Twitter and other Social Media Sites targets for scammers

With promises of fast easy cash people are pulling out the credit cards and signing up. On of these companies at EasyTweetProfits.com is claiming you can make fast cash with twitter, on the front page of the site they are claiming you can make $250-$873 a day from posting links on twitter.

Facebook is also a target but not for the same things, Facebook is phishing heaven as people want your account because you have personally verified every connection on Facebook. These connections are valuable because you are considered a trusted resource to your connections. This means if someone can get your username and password and post some links to scams or shams they are more likely to get a click through and a possible customer.

EasyTweetProfits.com was registered on GoDaddy.com on the April 29th 2009 according to the whois record. It was registered via DomainsByProxy.com which basically does private registration so that no one can see who is really behind it. But by using the terms and conditions of these sites you can find more information about the scams used and who is behind it.

We found two more sites that are using the same customer support numbers. We also see several other domains that are hosted on these servers that are probably up and coming or previous scam or sham domains. They are productcustomersupport.com, loadmodsource.com, onlinecareersystem.com, athomereview.com, creativejuice.com and a few others. Now to me these domains do indeed look fishy.

iSocialMembers.com another property of the social scams

These groups appear to be run by “Transactions Online Business Ltd” which is located at

65 Chaytor Road
Bridgehill, County Durham
Consett DH8 8QH
United Kingdom.

Now of course searching on this company just shows the normal rip off reports and scam alerts about buying something for 2 dollars and getting charged later for $47.00 dollars and I believe if you will follow the 10 Signs of a Scam you will find ways to not fall for these types of scams.

I have also some reason to believe that the same servers are hosting some Acai Berry scams because the addresses are in the same range but until I can prove it I will not say for sure. Some domain tools do indeed point to this however.

The BBB has also warned about these scams and has issued an alert back in July about these types of scams but they are still running around and making money.

“Twitter is the newest bright shiny object online and a perfect hook for yet another work-at-home scheme,” said Steve Cox, BBB spokesperson. “The pitch used to be about making money by sending e-mails or by placing ads on Google but now cash-strapped job hunters need to be wary of shelling out money for a dubious scheme that revolves around Twitter.”

Another property of social media scams

Please look at everything before signing up. I will be looking for more information on this group of people to try to find out who is behind it. I intend on building a who is who in scams with a 6 degrees of separation so we can see what is really going on in the mind and hearts of scammers and who they know.

I would like your comments on this scam and as always please signup for our RSS feeds so you can keep in touch with what is going on in the world of scams and shams.

I just seen this infomercial this morning and the infomercial right away knocked out about 5 of the 10 Signs of a Scam, promises of fast money, the offer ends soon, fast cars, wine and women. After doing a little research (I am not complete with it) I see he will charge you 39.95 a month for the next 12 months and the terms of service say you can cancel during the first 30 days and after that you seem to be on the hook for 12 months.

Other information shows “You start with a small purchase price of the initial material, $54.95 with shipping included. What you receive in the mail is useless and they give you a number to call so they can upsell a larger package based on what ‘you’ want to make per month. Of course, what you ‘invest’ is related to how much you can sink into it. They try to upsell anywhere from $5,000 to $15,000.” They will also contact you to setup merchant account which will require your Social Security Number. They will report to the credit bureau when you try to cancel.
Jeff Paul’s company has a F Rating at the BBB and you can read the FTC Press Release. I will be trying to contact every channel that plays this informercial to ask why they will show it when all these complaints are around.

You can find the case information on “Federal Trade Commission v.
So this guy is in deep and still trying to scam you out of your money. Maybe they are in need of legal defence funds.
Jeff Paul seems to be a scam or a sham, We are looking for people who have experienced Jeff Paul’s program that can give more information.

This guy is fleecing everyone he can for all the money he can find. He is in bed with BizKit in a Flash 2009 and Your Profit Gateway. I will be researching this to see who is behind it. But they are promising you can make money with Google ads. So we have the truth part, you can make money with Google ads to an extent. In fact I am currently using Google AdSense at the time of this post. He is promising a free “Google Home Business Kit” which is a link off to another site which is the one that is going to take payment.

This is a supposed risk free trial for $1.99 shipping and handling charges. However the Terms and Conditions say that your 7 day trial starts the moment you place your order. Which means more than likely you will not get your supposed kit before your 7 days runs out. Once your 7 days run out you will be billed $79.90 a month unless it canceled by you.

Here is the earnings disclaimer “*Earnings Disclaimer – Your level of success in attaining the results claimed in our materials depends on the time you devote to the program, ideas and techniques mentioned, your finances, knowledge and various skills.”. Wait that means if I am broke I wont make any money because my finances are not as high as others. This does not sound good to me, what about you?

I have heard that there is also a signup for some other program at the same time that you do not know about and is not told to you. This program is a Grant Program to help your children get in college supposedly. Now there is mention on Kevin Hoeffers website of a program called Cal Grants. I do not know what the deal is with this.

He of course claims that its as seen on MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CNBC and of course As Seen on TV. I am betting those as seen are just the channels the infomercials have run on. Now one thing I really don’t like is the money they claim on the splash or entry page looks like a promise but the fine print where you put your credit card number says that you wont make anything for the most part.

On the website down at the bottom step 3 claims

“Google will start sending their first check to you in about a week or two. Or you can start to have them wire directly into your checking account. (Your first checks will be about $500 to $1,500 a week. Then it goes up from there. Depends on how many links you posted online.)”

Do what? I am pretty sure this is not how it works. This will be a fun one to keep following up on. We will see in in the later posts.
