Sorry for the rant as this it not about a particular scam just a general observation.
As I surf around the Internet clearly scams run on the Internet is the majority of the websites. If you think about it a scam like Google Profit Kit or Anthony Morrison running around doing 2 or 3 scams and registering hundreds of domain names just so they can get your money. These websites are getting stupid, it’s getting to the point that you can not trust anything you read on the Internet including this article itself.
Millions of Websites
With millions upon millions of websites on the Internet why are so many of them created for illicit deeds. So we have the scam sites and we have the adult sites, that is probably 80% of the sites (Remember 76% of all statistics are made up). So if one day someone would crack down and take down the fraud, phishing, scam, and other illicit sites I would imagine we could see an increase in network performance.
Internet Authority on What the Hell are you Doing
If we go with that then lets just go out on a limb and say that we could fix the economy without having to print 700 billion dollars just by stopping the scams and phishing damages. Why don’t we work on that and get it done. I propose a new branch of the government and we will call them “Internet Authority on What the Hell are you Doing”. They will go around and police every single site on the Internet and decide if the site is valid or not.
Censorship
Wait a damn minute we can not do that because that would be censorship so we must find another way to limit the way scams proliferate around the Internet. Viral campaigns hurts us even more before we can control anything it’s already spread to millions.
Hiring for something
So why do we not take all these scammers and create a new company that can do something good for people. These scammers are absolutely brilliant they can market, deploy and support the fronts they create so well they must have great skills both personal and business skills why can we not find something else for them to do so that our money is safe. What can we find them to do?
Conclusion
As I said these are my observations and now I want yours. Every now and then you will find that I go off the deep end with frustrations. This is one of those times, most of my loyal readership already knows this. Weigh in and let me know how you feel. Or would you like it if the scam sites were removed from the Internet? Can you trust what you read? How do you decide what is trustworthy?
