As one of our readers noted (McCall) on the GoogleProfusion, TwitterProfusion and ProfitProfusion post that there are fake news sites popping up showing fake news articles. Here is the whois record for the domain
This is such a bad site I am not sure how people fall for it but I bet they do. The right navigation bar is one image and every single link on the page all points to a redirect to sell you the product. Now we get to see the product guess what its “Home Business Kit Using Google” great the saga continues.
The terms of service show that you are being billed $69.90 “You will be billed $1.95 at the time of order submission. Once Your trial is active you have 7 days to decide whether to accept Your Subscription. Prior to the expiration of the 7-day trial period, You may cancel Your subscription by calling toll-free at 800-994-4164. Should You fail to cancel Your Subscription within the 7 day trial You will be billed $69.90 at the completion of the 7 day trial and every month thereafter for Your monthly Subscription unless canceled by You”
So now when you do end up on the give us your money page you will see the domain has changed but the name of the game remains the same. We now see the real owner of the scam. Any more proof needed?
This is the same as many other scams run by Pacific WebWorks and the Utah house of Scams and Shams. I believe that possibly I need to create the top 10 scams and put them in the running. Maybe we can all vote on who deserves the top spot. What do you think? Can you find more fake news sites?
