Scam Times

Scam Times is a new project of mine to expose and undermine all scams we can find. We hope that we can search and destroy scams as quickly as possible. We will dig into these scammers lives if we can using open media like MySpace, Twitter, Facebook etc to find as much information as possible so that we can try to get some of these scammers to find a new job.

Scam Times will take time and I will try to get new information daily so that we can keep up to date with what is going on. This will take a lot of time and since I also have a full time job please be patient.

I wish I had investigated this before I bought this online. I feel so dumb. I hope tommorrow I can get my money credited back to my card, however I feel I am in for a lot of headache with this one. I might have to eat this 29.95. If I get my money back I’ll let you know. Thanks for the information.

I caught Anthony Morrision’s informercial on TV. It made sense to me. But decided to dig deeper into the program and found this site. My impression was that all you had to pay was $19.95 and you are off making money.

This article brought up some points that was not mentioned in the informercial and I would like to hear from someone who has tried AD’s program to confirm the following:

1. The informercial said that you will have your own website, a duplicate of AD’s for free, for life. But his article said he will charge $40 a month. Can anyone who has gone through this confirm this either way?

2. Does AD charge anther $3995 for additional info to ensure your success?

3. Does AD take a cut of what you make? What is the percentage.

Thank you for your input.

I fell for this scam, ordered over phone and once they have your credit card they start making other offers to you all automated .yea you can say yes or no to offers but if after you listen to all the b.s. and you feel you dont want the book you can’t cancel the order, they never ask you to give a final yes or no to order. I called cust. service ,told them to cancel my order ,guess what came in the mail 3 days later(the book) I called cust. service and told them I did not want it and they told me to send it back UNOPENED. well now Iam going to keep my eye on my credit card statment !!! my advice -DONT BUY BOOK– and if you get book dont open it send it back this is a ripoff

I am 74 and blind, but I ordered $136 and some change before I came to my senses and realized that the automated selling machine voice was not the same as the infomercial.

I am calling my bank and reporting it as a fraud and calling the television station to talk with someone there about the advertising. I plan to report them as a fraud and scam to the authorities, too.

The problem with reporting it to the bank is they refund the money to the card holder (the bank does), but the bank seldom if ever goes after the scam artist.

I feel dumb, too.

These people need to be stopped.

I live in Alexandria, Virginia.
I am another victim of this scam ,the machine that answered my call stated that for the book will be a charge of $19.95 plus S&H of $9.95 a total of $29.90 about an hour afterward I receive a text message that said: quote “VIP alert system, reply YES to start receiving marketing tips from Anthony Morrison at no add charge. Text STOP to end or HELP for info M…..” end quote
I reply to Stop.
Next I got a message back telling that was cancel but that some rates may apply.
That was when I got suspicious. I call my credit card company because they support number (Anthony Morrison) doesn’t answer the call and I told what was going on the Credit Card told that there is already a charge for $49.90 on my account by that company.
I will dispute this charge and asked them to change my credit card number, so they won’t be able to post any more charges of this Big Scam.

I ran across a website where Anthony Morrison is trying to talk you into becoming an “Auction Listing Agent” for a $197.00 one time fee. They all say one time fee but they do not tell you about the other 14 day trial period to some other website that you have never heard of.Then if you do not call and cancel, you will be charged anywhere from $39.95 to 89.95 per month, with an up front starting fee of $129.00 or more.He also introduces his father as being one of the persons that is making like $8000,00 per month as an “Auction Listing Agent”.Well, I believe it is all a scam.Anthony always uses his family members as examples of earnings potential in all of his scams.

I fell for the same thing. I bought the book but even worse i had Professinal Marketing International call me and say they were with Anthony and they talked me into a program that cost me $10,550. Said that by the time my first credit card payment is due I will be making enough to make that payment. 6 months later I have made $10.45. They offered me $3,540. for a refund and i have to agree not to say anything about our transactions.

sorry to say that that i am another one of the unforunates who fell for it too. i am confused why you settled to less than half of what you were swindled. i just signed up for the books and VIP trial access less than a week ago, and i am just now seeing all of this. we all need to report this to the BBB, assuming it hasn’t already been done.

I saw Anthony’s informercial, ordered the program for $19.95 but was charged 39.95 after listening to all the automated upselling which I declined. Called customer service the next day to cancel and they reduced the price to $29.95 and sent it to me anyways! Then came the annoying phone calls from the salesman trying to sell me their ultimate package guarantying me riches in no time. I blocked their number and am now working with Jay Kubassek and Aaron Parkinson.

So I as well have been scammed and I feel beyond frustrated. I stayed on to speak with someone live and was told they are not customer service at all. I said I want the whole transaction cancelled and she stated I needed to call back. I said no I called this number and you need to transfer me to whomever will cancel the order. So she hung up on me instead. Any additional help would be so kind! Or whom I would place a formal complain as well.
