We will be running several posts on this topic as we try to uncover the scams. However lets start with a little information about the berry because as we all know scams run on the backs of the latest craze. First this berry does not make you loose weight. It does however help but only with diet and exercise the berry is not the real weight loss item the diet and exercise is. The berry is high in antioxidants, fiber, and heart healthy fats. These things are generally excepted components of a typical weight loss program, and as we all also know every scam has to have a little truth or no one would buy it.
All documented health benefits of the acai berry can be obtained from many sources and this is not really a health topic but more to give a little information on the background of these scams. There are many other foods high in antioxidants like for example pure cranberry juice has just about the same antioxidant capacity as the acai berry juice. Pomegranate juice and even red wine have been shown to have a greater antioxidant capacity that this little berry.
You also need to know that acai berry products are available from your local pharmacy and online drugstores that are reputable. There is no reason to order these products from a bad website or a infomercial. They do not have a different berry they are the same.
Look for wording about recurring billing, auto ship or any other wording because this is a red flag that they are going to continue to bill you and you should find somewhere else to shop.
The majority of the acai berry scams are going to offer you a free trial and they still ask for your credit card, possibly for shipping and handling. They than say if you cancel in 14 days nothing happens and you can keep the free trial. Those 14 days are already started they will then ship the product after the 14 days and you will more than likely get your free trial about the same time you get your first months shipment. These shipments will bill your credit card for around 80 dollars. If you try to call to get it canceled you will be told to call a number that is either disconnected or will be told they have no record of your order number so they can not cancel the order.
The only way to stop this is to cancel your credit card and get a new number. We will go into more detail on the acai berry scams in further posts.

I want to thank you very much for the information…I woke up and heard the info on anthony morrison and serched out the site to purchase the kit. Found this site. After a year of scams from electricians, contractors, insurance co., mechcanics, that got me in the situation in the frist place, all I needed was another rip off…by the way I am one of those who bought kevens lot….
