Anthony Morrison – His book and package

by matt on September 18, 2009 · 191 comments

As I said earlier I ordered Anthony Morrison – Advertising Profits from Home to see what this system is about. Mind you I canceled my credit card afterwards and attempted numerous times to cancel the order before it was shipped but the phone number is not managed and it is probably not supposed to be. Since I am out $29.90 I might as well give you a small bit of information for laughs.

When you order from his website you get an automated email confirmation of the order. It says the following

“Thank you for your order:

Advertising Profits From Home
SKU: APH Book
$19.95 + $9.95 S&H

Please keep in mind that your credit card
statement will read “866-520-7289ADVPROFITS”
along with a charge of $19.95 + $9.95 S&H.

Thank you for ordering with us. We appreciate
your business and will work hard to provide you
with the best customer service.

Please do not respond to this e-mail as it is
unmonitored
. Should you need further assistance
or have any questions please call the number or
use the email listed below.

We look forward to helping you create an
additional revenue stream online!

All the Best,

Anthony Morrison’s Customer Satisfaction Dept.
[email protected]
1.800.457.7118

Notice what it talks about the email address being unmonitored, but yet when I get the package I get a little blue note that says

“Customer Support
Your complete satisfaction is our #1 Goal
If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] or give us a call at 1-866-520-7289

So it is unmonitored or is it monitored it can not be both. Just does not seem correct to me.

UPDATE: We now have a product worth promoting, check out Niche Blitzkrieg as it will show you everything you need to know about setting up niche websites to make a constant income stream, To good to be true? I have been using it now for a while check out the review of Niche Blitzkrieg

Somebody, anybody know where this guy lives or where a scheduled seminar near phoenix az will be. I just need to be put in physical contact with him. Me and my goons repair wagons. Anthony’s wagon is broke. We’ll fix his wagon and post pictures of the results. We just need to locate him. Small donations aren’t nessary, but will be accepted for gas allowance only. Anything left over will be donated to the needy.

If you feel you have been scammed by these type of low cost promotions only to find they want thousand of dollars to help you start your business or coach you, then contact your Attorney General in your state.

Any AG can help you get your money back from scammers.

Keep in mind, you can earn money from this program, however, you will need to pay them to coach you thru it and pay out a lot in advertising to get people to your money making website.

Hope this helps.

Hi Rhonda,

I totally got sucked into the Anthony Morrison thing, have been working my hardest for the past 6 months dropping thousands of dollars into their program. Nothing in return so far. Do you think it is too late to contact the Attorney General in my state? The businesses that I have been linked up to are still charging me every month and I feel so strangled. Any advice you can give me, and have you contacted your AG for help with something like this?

These sites will never give your large sum of money back. They will always find a reason to not refund your money. I gave over $4,000.00 to one of these sites and didn’t earn a dime, asked for my money back, on way. Just a lesson learned. If it sounds too good to be true it useally is.

I actually had contemplated buying his book and starting his system because I was a little desperate for a new income stream at the time, but it seems like I might have had the wrong idea all along. It still baffles me how this could be completely a sham and still be on TV and have people participate in it as much as they did; granted that they make the money when the people involved are successful. It seems to me that it might be a working system but they are covering up the real cost. Any ideas on how to find a successful thing online that I can work at to create a revenue stream?

SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Well, the guy tries to come across like the savior for online businesses. I bought in. I can’t get the auto credit charges to stop, they have harassed me endlessly with emails and phone calls but will not stop the auto charging nor refund my package price.

What was said above is very true-there does not seem to be anyone anywhere able to respond to a call or an email.

I’ve read both books and his claims are false. The first book is the story of Anthony. BORING. There is nothing in it to teach online business. The second is about affiliate marketing and leaves the reader way short of actually being able to do this business. There is no way to begin with the information(or lack of) in either book. He guarantees you will make enough in two weeks to cover the cost of the package. Not possible without paying their ‘consultants’ a lot of money. It’s just another high pressure salesman on the line who dumps you if you don’t commit to spending thousands of dollars.

One of the papers in the package sent me to the set up site for the ‘free’ web site that comes with purchase. Once there, they actually REQUIRE you to enter your social security number. FOLKS, DO NOT DO THIS. They claim that they have to in order to pay you your profits……THIS IS FALSE. The IRS and other tax agencies have a process when this is required and this isn’t it.

Anthony is just another self proclaimed prodigy who steals money from those in real need, who signs you up to automatically take about $40 a moth from your bank account, and who does not fulfill the promises in his demigod like infomercial.

Two words can sum up this guy: EGOTISTICAL THIEF.

I got tricked out of an extra 9.95 for shipping and handling on the extra free book Hidden Millionaire. It sounded like when I paid the 9.95 for the package I would get the Hidden Millionaire book for free — but I paid 19.95 plus 9.95 shipping and handling for the Ad Profits from Home book and then an extra 9.95 shipping and hanlding for the Millionaire book. Made me feel like I got f—-d. Who wants to deal with a business and feel like that. Keep your hand on your wallet when you are dealing with Anthony Morrison.

From my experience using adwords gets hits but it is dificult to get proper targeted folks. The adwords cost per hit which is fine as long as the person clicking is truly interested in your product. I can see you making m0ney with his system if done right though. He states you get paid by sending companies customers. Do they have to be paying customers?

Yep, I have alot to say after losing thousands of dollars with pmi education well, the coachin didnt teach you how to make money. Plus when I gotten a customer service number. Later he appeared in bbb as a bad rating. So, it gave 4 numbers. When I finally reached his office sayin customer serviced lied and led me to a site saying go to a certain site to low cost click’s so, people see it. Maybe buy of order. I did and had over 3500 click with not making a dime. Anyway, so, I called anthony’s office up and the guy over the phone said that he didnt reconize that number and it wasnt in his list on the customer service number I had and given to me when I gotten the book. Well, my mother was messed over as well, I just hope somethin is done. He makes a good sales person in ripin people off but, not a good person toward tellin the truth and leading people to the right way and where to go.

I PAYED $12,000 FOR THE MENTORING PROGRAM. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!!!

I went to the free 3 hour initial seminar. They got me excited. So I paid $1,995 to go to the two day training. I split the cost with my friend. I thought I would be ready to make money after spending all that money on training. No!

They said, the two day training was like “pre-school” and I would not make the money I really want to unless I pay for their software and personal mentoring program which is like “high school”. I got sucked in.

I payed $10,000 for the Level 1 Mentoring program. They make it look sooo easy to create Facebook and Plenty of Fish Ads. It is, but doing it the way they show us does not make any money. I went to Utah for their weekend training (Total cost of trip = $730). There were about 30 people there and the instructor asked who was making money from Facebook and Plenty of Fish ads. Not one person was making money!

I paid for this program 9 months ago and have only lost money from doing what they say. Six months ago, I called and emailed them everyday for a week before they got back to me. Their only response is that I should pay for their more expensive mentoring package with is $25,000 or $35,000. HELL NO!!!

Now, they are not returning any of my calls or emails. This has been the biggest mistake I have ever made and I just hope by reading this I can stop other people from being scammed by the ANTHONY MORRISON SYSTEM.

you should contact your state attorney general, they will be able to help you possibly get your money back, not always a guarentee but they work for you cause your tax dollars are their paycheck.

Wow, I was bored and looking around the internet and found this crazy site. I make well OVER 10k PER month using this system. Sure, I started about 1.5 years ago and it took me a couple months until I took it seriously but then I have increased month over month how much $ I get in checks. Now its ridiculously easy. There is NO MONTHLY CHARGE. and when you find yourself having to provide your SSN, that is BECAUSE you are GOING TO GET a 1099 because you received checks. Sorry, but that is the law. I have my OWN affiliate marketing company and require SSN’s from anyone I am sending money to. NO SSN, NO MONEY. I personally WAIT until they are owed a check to ask for it, if I don’t get it, they don’t get the $. I don’t steal peoples identities, but anyone NOT MONITORING their credit reports is an idiot anyway.

Book is nice, but stay away from this nice young mans orginazition. This is my story. I can’t believe I was taken for over $13 thousand, thirteen thousand I did not have. I’m unemployed looking to make money to just exist. First I was sold a program to “educate me” (couple thousand). Then I was sold a corporation which I did not need, this set me back $7K (I already had one). Then I was sold training to assist with the structure, which cost me several thousand. This structure company ran a credit check and found my credit was great, and then they tried to get their hands on my 401K, so they could reinvest it for me. Well this broke the camels back. I came to the realization I was being scamed BIG TIME. I’m now struggling to get out of debt. I’m such a sucker. Everytime I answered my phone, it was from Anthony Morrison affiliates wanting to get their hands deeper into my empty pockets. I’m so sorry I ever called into the infomercial in the first place.

To: Mr. Naive,
I hope you are able to read this msg. I was in Banking for 13 years and suggest you do the following.
1. Dispute all the charges placed against you Credit Card by the company in question .
2. File a claim of fraud with the Credit Card Company and speak to supervisor.
3. File a Complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for Deceptive & False Business Practices.

You might have to eat some of the charges but very very little. Depending on what card you used or if you paid it out of your bank acct they can correct most of the charges providing it’s not over 6 months to a year old that is.

Best of luck

Second before you guy buy anything online to make money you need to be ready to take action and get the job done, there is not a such thing online that will put money in your pocket without no work if you are looking for easy money you better stop right now.

I awoke today to Anthony Morrison speaking over my television. What a saving grace! I now know today what I wish I’d known!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve grown up around and grown accustomed to the internet and its inner workings. What a fool I’ve been to let such an opportunity pass!

What Anthony speaks of is common knowledge, I’ll admit. But what’s unique about him is his ability to focus on the winning ideas! Never-mind the humbleness required to share his success, the time it took to create opportunity for others speaks volumes to me!

Hmm..I haven’t seen a lot of support for Anthony Morrison but there are programs that will work however they all require commitment and focus to achieve results. Often, commitment and focus are the most difficult things to keep going. I imagine there are some get rich quick schemes but I haven’t come across any, and I wouldn’t waste my time trying to find one.

I purchased Anthony Morrison’s book a few days ago, still waiting for it to arrive. However I have been getting emails with a bunch of fluff. All he’s doing is selling dreams and asking for more money. He claims that he will give you the secrets of his success and then tells you he’ll need another $500 to do so. I haven’t received the book but based on his initial actions, this program is designed to milk his customers out of all they have. Save your money. A simple $29 can easily turn into thousands if you keep spending. The only lesson Anthony Morrison has learned is that there’s a sucker born twice a day.

Laughs indeed.
Regardless of Morrison, canceling your credit card and being out $29.90 simply displays that you are a fool!

Why would you cancel a credit card when you can simply charge back the purchase for credit with by returning the product by a trackable shipping method like UPS?

So instead of griping about others and playing the oh so lamentable ( and comic) victim, take a few minutes to call the canceled credit card company and find out how you can have charges removed, provided you have the basic wherewithal to do it properly!

Its bad enough that there are scammers out there, but what is worse are the willfully ignorant fools who set themselves up and then whine where THEY are their own worst enemies.

Hellooo..,
I’m also of the opinion that Matt himself is into a similar program … Just not yet rich enough to make TV adverts yet! I bought this Anthony “whatever” book on a TVAd. To start with.. from the point of odering the book I new it’s going to be a scam (that wasn’t my first time of buying such programs). The AD will attract your attention by making the cost very low and promising.. And then you’ll say to yourself .. “I can do away with such and such amount anyway .. “. Then the rip-off strategy comes just while you’re still ordering the product .. Numerous other offers will be presented to you and you simply have to say “yes” or “no”. If you say no.. the same thing will be presented to you in another way with more polishing.. If you’re lucky to complete the offer without saying “yes” to any of those other offers .. you just cross the first huddle.. Shortly after you got the product in the mail, a representative will call you and begin to offer more stuff.. and the ussual trick is to screen out people they presume don’t have anything to give out to them.. They ask how much you have in your credit cards and other source of income.. I told this guy I’m on a debt management program and that I don’t use credit cards anymore.. He simply said one of their superior will be contacting me to see how they can assist.. hahahaha… that was it.. I never get a call back again from anyone.. And the reason why I said you Matt belong to the same group is this.. You are into one or more of such program and your own style is to critizise other scarmmers and then offer what you think is the best by providing a link to your affiliates.. Check this out .. even if a program is good and you put it on a serach engine.. you will see someone from the results of your search claiming he has a better one than that.. I’ll tell you one more thing.. One of these callers actually cursed me out when I did not succumb to any of his trick to get money out of me.. He said “you sucks” and hang up! Another one said to me after I told him I didn’t get any results from any of the system they claim works.. He simply said.. “you’ve got to start your own”.. That is to say “START RIPPING OFF PEOPLE TOO” The bottom line is non of those acclaimed work-from-home business is true .. they only make the owner of such program rich…

Just saw his infomercial. He’s very smooth. interviewer is forward and clumsy, while he is calm. Wouldn’t surprise me if he is just a figure head: an actor/con-man giving a face to the scam. If he can make you like him on tv, his job is half complete.
The only get rich quick schemes that work today are robbery and cooking crack (if you don’t count inheritance, and i don’t) and they’re both very dangerous. never trust a get rich quick scheme.

@Brandon

Thank you for your comment, but just to clear a few misconceptions, This is not one little typo because I have found the same typo for the same email address on several different sites that Anthony runs. The other misconception is that I have not opened the book, I have. But its nothing new, the scam is not the book. The book is like the gateway drug, I got several calls trying to sell me conferences for other Anthony products, also I attempted to cancel my order and never got a call back or anything.

However if you want why I am calling a scam a scam I recommend some further reading

@Cass that’s what I was expecting but it seems that every email that comes from this group comes from the same email, its the only email account used. It sends order confirmations, the newsletter spam, as well as supposed to be customer support. I looked multiple times to make sure and the SMTP headers says it to be that.
Thank you for the comments.

So if 40 dollars is your investment how are you going to get your traffic, a vast majority of this book is telling you how to pay to get traffic from various sources. But if that is how you feel let us know when you have completed your goal I would love to hear a true success story and not a family member or friend vouching.
