As I said earlier I ordered Anthony Morrison – Advertising Profits from Home to see what this system is about. Mind you I canceled my credit card afterwards and attempted numerous times to cancel the order before it was shipped but the phone number is not managed and it is probably not supposed to be. Since I am out $29.90 I might as well give you a small bit of information for laughs.
When you order from his website you get an automated email confirmation of the order. It says the following
“Thank you for your order:
Advertising Profits From Home
SKU: APH Book
$19.95 + $9.95 S&H
Please keep in mind that your credit card
statement will read “866-520-7289ADVPROFITS”
along with a charge of $19.95 + $9.95 S&H.
Thank you for ordering with us. We appreciate
your business and will work hard to provide you
with the best customer service.
Please do not respond to this e-mail as it is
unmonitored. Should you need further assistance
or have any questions please call the number or
use the email listed below.
We look forward to helping you create an
additional revenue stream online!
All the Best,
Anthony Morrison’s Customer Satisfaction Dept.
[email protected]
1.800.457.7118
”
Notice what it talks about the email address being unmonitored, but yet when I get the package I get a little blue note that says
“Customer Support
Your complete satisfaction is our #1 Goal
If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] or give us a call at 1-866-520-7289
”
So it is unmonitored or is it monitored it can not be both. Just does not seem correct to me.
UPDATE: We now have a product worth promoting, check out Niche Blitzkrieg as it will show you everything you need to know about setting up niche websites to make a constant income stream, To good to be true? I have been using it now for a while check out the review of Niche Blitzkrieg

People check out Informical Review-”Advertising from Home with Anthony Morrison”. You will see poor suckers who’ve been taken for thousands of dollars more than the initial $20 to buy the USELESS book. Any looser defending this guy are PAID EMPLOYEES read between the lines. There is a poor lady who went into this program with an open heart and mind and got screwed for $40k and made $7 return. What’s wrong with that picture……A LOT!!!! The only people making any $$$ is Anthony and his crooked goons. Believe you and me no one that joins this dog and pony show make any money. The book is the beginning the call will come soon after ordering the useless book, and they goons will ask “high trust questions” all along to find out how much available credit you have available for them to suck out of you. Two weeks later you will get a call from their tax club wanting 5k or more to set your business up as s-corporation. This is all the beginning of a nightmare. Get this once you sign up Anthony and his goons will only give you 3-DAYS TO CANCEL-that’s it once you pass your 3-days you WILL NEVER SEE ANY OF YOUR $$$ BACK! If they are such a stand up company why give 3 days to cancel….hmmmm. Because they are one Big Scam! I can’t wait for that to come for class action suit againt this scammer.
i think you may be speaking of a different program — there was a horrible program out a few years back that was real estate based…this one is not. just FYI :)
Although i agree with it probably not working but news flash bud the standard for any purchase is a three day right of rescission. So don’t judge the company on it enforcing a three day right to cancel….
I ordered anthony morrison too. What a scam!!! I ordrered it because im disabled and have childern so i was looking for something to help with the income i lost. When his company called the first man ask if i had a credit card i said no he explained that it would cost me to buy into the company some where between 5 to 8 thousand . lol what is wrong with that if i had that kinda money than i wouldnt blow it id use it to care for my family, he said well thats why i could start today for only 299.00 for tax ,title, and fees so he had another man call and he said the cost was 299.00 down and montly payments untill it was paid back but this man said he was a different company then anthony morrison his company was collage and everyone has to pay for collage…My son ,husband, daughter and me was all there listening to all there lies and how rude the became if you questioned why the 2 men had a different reason for what the money was for and my son didnt give them any slack my son explained to him with his math skills on how their company was a 90 million dollar company…anyways after going on for a hour of his rude and nasty additude and lie after lie i can tell you for sure that this is a scam..My son is very smart with math and computers so their lies didnt go far..YES IM OUT OF MY 39.99,,,PRICE HAS INCREASED LOL!!!YOU NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!I WILL POST TO EVERYONE I NO ABOUT HIS BUSINESS ON EVERY SITE I CAN, oh the last man i spoke to said the name of his business is PMI and they was register with Uath i checked and the company pmi that was a computer business is no longer in business the other pmi in Uath is registerd there with an A but is not the same pmi he was claiming,,,,, anthony morrison website http://www.affiliatesystem.us
Debbie,
The company is PMI which is Professional Marketing Int’l at pmicoaching.com. They are a real estate and affiliate marketing coaching company. I truly know nothing about them, but I did buy Anthony Morrison’s book and online learning center and then was followed with high pressure calls from PMI. In fact, they called yuesterday and I couldn’t talk, so they will be calling me back in a little while. I am looking forward to discussing wiuth them all the online complaints (lol)
you are right bout this and the 3 day money back is right it took 2 day to come in and a week to read the two books then a week to see if the program works and the second week they called and they asked did we have credit card or savings or access to money so he never has to return your money … people dont order the book my son could do everything he talked about in the book…Just go to the bussiness in your area see if you can advertise for them and every customer you get the business will pay you a set price or percent of the sale,,,so far all the links i have tried was spam they offer free things to you then when you go there you never recive anything they hope you will buy something i didnt recive a 250 domino gift card because there are so maney questions you give up or get side tracked with alot of offers.
Well… i was actully concidering buing this product… but now that i have looked at your comments i have decided not. thank you!
Can anyone point me at one of the websites that Anthony Morrison gives each buyer of the book? Please post like site dot com not actual html as I’m not looking to give anyone free advertising, just want to see what the buyers get, whether it is a true stand alone site of a near worthless sub-domain or sub-directory off a main site.
Thanks. Bob
Investigated this for a client who wanted to know our opinion…shelled out the initial cost of the book as advertised on television…received the package and find it useless. The first DVD is marked “STOP! Watch this now!”…nothing but a 5 minute commercial selling additional services for a “team” to put together a marketing program…2nd DVD titled “3 Steps to Fast Profits” won’t even play…the books are nothing but a bio of his rather short young life and just a paraphrased repeat of Robert Allen’s Internet Profits book. Mr. Allen’s advice is far more reliable than this fellow. As for the “Free Website” offered by Mr. Morrison, it is nothing more than a replicated website with a worthless sub-domain/sub-directory…of course, his site offers to sell you a regular domain name that you can redirect to his sub-domain he has “given” you. Our advice to you and our client is to forego the headache and invest your money with a reliable source of information…one with which you can have face-to-face interaction in person or via 2-way teleconferencing.

I had it book marked but none of the book marks are valid so I just put in the main URL line and got it but it won’t let me in any more. Here is the website and the phone just has a double message on it asking you to leave a message and someone will call you back. It is like you get the first message and then aother phone system gets triggered that plays a second almost identical message, which is weird. http://profitsystemonline.com/index.php
You don’t want to do this though, I meant to say. They also have been charging me just like the report above says, but then also added charges I never agreed to for WC FunSource and WC Value Plus 24.95 a month each. So, don’t even get involved with this please I emplore you.
Is there any agency you can go to. This is the second time I ordered it but I got my money back, I ordered it again this time I opened it but I saw your message and called them I said I am sending it back.
How did you get your money back i just orderd and then read these comments now i want my money. can you help??? please??
just call their customer service number and tell them to cancel your order. that s what i did .
I live in the same small town in Ms where Anthony lives. I have NO idea whether his business is a scam or not BUT I will tell you he’s making plenty of money off all of those who order his book etc…
He has 2 Lamborghinis and several other high priced automobiles. Can’t fault the guy for making $$$ but I do hope he’s not doing it at the expense of others.
my husband was interested in finding out how they make money so he bought the book…..we started getting calls from them wanting us to start our business….the other day we got a call telling us that they wanted to possibly use us as potential in commercials for their success stories….we were told that they were going to support us and hold our hand thru it……then he wanted to make sure that we had access to a credit card that we could put somewhere btwn $2-4 thousand dollars because it takes money to make money….we started asking questions and were told that we could ask the next guy we were going to speak to, if we qualified for the “success story” commercial…..he wanted to make sure that we wanted to make more than $100 a month….(ya, give me abreak)…..well we made it, we were qualified for the commercial….this guy starts going over the same stuff the first one did, and i said we had heard all of this already and had some questions….the man got snotty and rude…the more we asked the snottier he got……i have no doubt’s that this is a scam……..he has those 2 lamborigini’s from taking peoples money, not from the things he says work…….oh and those companies that are supposed to be paying, the largest of the companies didn’t pay and is claiming bankruptcy
so the saying is true, if it seems to good to be true it probably is
the calls start real soon after you buy the book, you don’t even have time to try to figure out how it works all on your own. the guy i talked to actually tried to use this as a selling point. i won’t be buying anything else
cat, that happened to me to..lol they almost got me, yes we need to be careful with these scam, anyone could make money online, just not through these guys like Anthony Morrison,
I am not going to say anything bad about anyone, including Mr. Morrison. Life is sales. You can make money helping others sell their wares or services. This information is readily available for no cost. Research niche marketing, web 2.0 marketing, and affiliate marketing. Adwords and other methods of pay per click or PPC, in addition to any other method of pay for action system, relies on your funding and working a marketing strategy and system. There are still free websites available, but may I suggest you focus only on products or services that you enjoy or dislike. My research shows that you can create no cost websites and communities using video and web blog sites. Check out WordPress and Clickbank. No need to pay, and once you have earned a reputation or revenue, you will have a business capable of paying for advertising. x Everyone can still make money, just don’t expect to get rich over night. If you worked every night 4-5 hrs, you might make a couple hundred in about 30 days. Anything is possible, means more or less than expected. If you have more time than money, work hard, if you have more money than time, hire others to create niche sites for you. Brand yourself well. Protect your reputation, don’t lose your privacy trying to make money online. Most of all, crush your fear, and try to fail without using any money, and learn what works, and repeat until you fail at failing. The best successes come from learning from mistakes and failures. This does not mean spend your credit or cash.
Best wishes to all,
J
How can I start a website? I really was thought Mr. Morrison was for real and was going to buy his book. Now after reading these comments and other about scams i am not. Would like to make money from home plus my job,I just don’t how to or who or what to trust.Any suggestions?
Yeah here is a good suggestion , maybe try the product for yourself then decide wether you like it or not . you know some people say something is a scam when either they don’t understand how the program works or they are expecting money to just start rolling in the bank . you know people have this weird idea of get rich quick schemes . not a scam a scheme , a scheme is a plan ,strategy a lay out of something that will eventually be something . some people don’t have the patience to wait for the boat to be constructed they just wanna grab the oars and go then what they drown huh. and those are the people who say this a scam well money isn’t free you have to invest time in order to get something back it’s not just going to deposit itself into your acct. that is the best brief suggestion I can give you. I’m actually going to attend a seminar of Anthony’s at a very classy hotel and he is giving stuff away free along with an hour and a half speech of his money making strategies . go figure who’s telling the truth about not being able to get a hold of the guy.
Well, Crystalia did you get to know it his info is a scam to make him rich? Did you go to the seminar and try his system and did you get calls from his people to get more money out of you?
J,
Excellent reply. Well said and much needed.
Stu
I volunteer to be trained free, if this really does work, I will pay him a percentage of my proceeds. Sounds fair to me!
i am totally a sucker. i bought the book,to make extra income to support my family.i thought that 30.00 wasn’t to much. well somehow they got 197.00 out of my bank account.!!!!! that takes food out of my kids mouth. i would like to find out where he lives!!!!!! and knock his lying teeth down his throat !!!!!!!!!!!
I did the same, becide the book I also paid $197 to be helped step by step to start making money at home. I sended couple e-mails to the support team asking for help, they never replied back, someone called to offer support with another $5000 in my credit card to start a business. Big scam, I don’t know how to get my money back, I did a big mistayke by being desperate in loosing my job and wanting something legitimate to work from home. I paid for my mistayke to learn my lesson.
About getting your money back … if you have used a credit card in purchasing any product, you can file a dispute with the credit card company that you used to purchase a product. I have done this several times within my lifetime and the credit card company will really go to bat for you, especially if you dispute within a three-day period from purchase. Just explain to them that you found out it was a scam program. However, if there is something about term of purchase agreement, that could cause a problem, but even so, I have been successful in getting a refund as a non-satisfied purchasing customer of a product.
I don’t blame you…..I have children I have to feed myself…wow what a scam
LOL – You created this site EXACTLY how he taught you to do it.
You followed every little bit of his advice and you are doing okay.
You got your story of “how bad Anthony is” and you are laughing now at how easy it was to just follow his advice and make it.
To people reading these posts: This site was created following Anthony’s advice and this guy is making money by bad mouthing his teacher. Not very nice of him.
Not exactly, and I have been in the internet industry since 1995. The advice that I followed is the things I learned over those years, what he puts in his books is so basic and does not actually talk about anything more than signing up for affiliate marketing offers and trying to put those out.
Now, if you wanted to say this site is modeled off of you could say Niche Blitzkrieg and the only thing I could say is it was done before I bought that program. This is a niche site, niche sites follow rules, they all follow the same rules so in essence they are all the same right?
Anthony did not “teach” me anything because he does not have anything to teach. I read his book and everything was already known. I appreciate your try however at trying to validate the book.
I bought into the program and by the second step I knew I’d been had! During Morrion’s sales pitch never once does he mention that you once a buyer orders one of your listed products you have to actually buy it yourself and have the manufacturer ship it to the client.
Furthermore, this “hot” list of products that is supposed to be easy to choose had only a few cell phones.
Morrison totatlly misrepresented the system.
I should have known better, I am angry and embarrased !
You know what I got a better idea, what is your site, do it just like Anthony says in the book and let me know how successful you are.
He is coming to Dallas on October 25. Got an invitation for a “Free” lunch or dinner…Nothing is free…I knew he was going to scam me for something…Thanks for the post.
LOL! I just got this offer in an email. It goes on and on about work for citizens. When I scrolled through the testimonials I saw a Mexican named Clyde. What a joke.
I got sick right after ordering this book, and now I am b etter, and it has been a little over a month, and now I can’t find the website that I was suppose to get with the book.
And also I made a mistake and clicked twice and was charged twice, so I guess I am out almost $50.00.
I have purchased his books. I have read the first book. It is very good. Very Motivating. But doesnt tell how to make money. I Watched the Start Here DVD. It is trying to sell you on paying for a mentor and additional help. All throughtout the info I have seen thus far there is an underling tone of selling additional help. But for $40 bucks, if you get anything out of it, you are ahead. I got some good Ideas and great motivation. I did get his website that was promissed, well see about that. I will read the second book. So far I feel I got my monies worth, but I wont be buying any new cars real soon!!!
Brian, would you mind sharing your website that you got from Anthony Morrison where I can see what is on it? You can either post it or send it to my email account roy dot watts at gmail dot com.
hey my name is michelle and im really interested in what his talking about. i would like to see your web site, and be my own judge before buying anything on line with my credit card, becuase of what the other people have been saying on this website. thanks!
Just to say that if this Anthony Morrison is selling an idea and people are consumed with his tale head, line and sinker, then the guy is making a sale. I don’t believe anyone makes money sitting at home pretty without someone out there not being scorched, burned and scalded….oh not unless you have someone who just pays you for some ‘services’, you had a child with someone with money and being paid for that, you married into money or inherited money or you also invest in the precarious stock market too. If this young man can take people for what they are by cheap talking on common sense ‘how to,when to’, then he cannot be blamed. It like those who send you emails that they are due some fantastic amount of money and need your money to release this money from wherever, promising you a high % return. I hope people wake up and as long as there are people out there who just take in everything without evaluation, you’d get more of these so called ‘smart-brains’.
i nearly fell for this too guys, but was a little weary of it so didnt go ahead ,they is too much of this going on ,these days so be careful guys!
Anyone who actually buys this or any other infomercial selling a ‘System’ (as in “I used Marvin’s system and I am making 10000 dollars/month”) is clearly fairly low on the evolutionary ladder. Hey dummies why would someone sell you an easy way to make millions, if they knew how to do that they keep it to themselves,
That was funny…is not that people are truly really idiots…..is just that desperate times calls for desperate measures….nothing personal…..Who is Marvin? How are you making $10,000 a month?…..
This young man (Anthony Morrison) looks so innocent and honest! But don’t be fooled! In reality, he (and apparantly his family as well as shown on TV), are all a bunch of BS-scam and con-artists. When I called and ordered his 2-books just 3 days ago on Dec. 3, 2010, I was barraged after giving my credit card number with a continuous litany of upgade-ads, some quite expensive. It was during the fifth ad or so that I finally hung up. I can only assume that the ads would never end as long as I stayed on the phone. By the way, I emphatically stated after each automated ad that I DID NOT want anything else, just the books. But Morrison’s “order and ad line” continuously moved forward into another advertisement. Totally frustrated, I finally hung up!!
After checking my checking account for the $19.95 plus S&H, I was shocked to see a $39.95 (ProfitFromHome) charge on my account. At first I thought it was a mistake so I called the 800 toll-free number (800-520-7289) shown on my bank statement. That was at 7:30 AM Denver time (MST). When I questioned the call-center woman about the charge, she said the S&H was $19.95 (the same amount as the cost of the two books). That’s when I realized I was being scammed. The woman said my order was put through just 30 minutes ago. I said “Cancel this order!” She came back with, “When you receive your order, just return them and we’ll refund for order!” She indicated that there was NO-WAY that she could stop the order at this time.
I complained that I would then be forced to pay another $6 or $7 in return shipping charges for the order–”what a joke” she must be thinking. Now, after reading the many negative statements about Anthony Morrison and this whole affair, I realize that I was taken and that I would have a very difficult time in receiving any refund — if at all!!
This is once again “another bad TV ad experience.” I will NEVER order anything from a TV ad again . . . all these pitch-men and/or women are PRIMARILY SELLING “ADD-ON UP-GRADES” after initially getting your (my) credit card number on their order line. That’s their modus operandi! Watch out, do your due diligence!! Check them out on the Internet FIRST, before you pick up that phone and order anything from a TV ad.
LET THE BUYER BEWARE… THIS GUY WILL CONSTANTLY TRY TO SELL YOU AN UPGRADE AND OTHER SERVICES THAT HAVE LITTLE OR NO REAL VALUE (I have learned that some have been taken for thousands of dollars). THAT’S THE WAY HE MAKES HIS MONEY!! I HOPE SOMEONE CLEANS HIS CLOCK ONEDAY!
wjk
For a refund: Contact your bank or credit card company and request that fraudulent charges be removed. The bank will immediately remove charges until they can be verified.
Or contact your State Attorney General’s Office. They will immediately pen a letter and go after them.
If you merely mention a complaint to the Attorney General, it is usually sufficient to gain cooperation and get your money back.
B 4 ordereing anything like this I usually always check to see if it is a scam. [ie on google anything morrison complaints] I forgot to do it this time. Shame on me.
These types of scams have been going on for decades. I hate to see people fall for them out of desperation to help them survive in this horrible economy.
To all of those who said they were scammed out of money; all you need to do is tell the credit card company that it was an unauthorized transaction, not what was expected, returned, or whatever reason you should not be charged and you will get a refund.
I would like to reply to all the comments . It is true the Mr Morrison is scaming people out of there money. One of my good friends knows this man personaly. He came up with a way to do this and make very good money and I don;t have a problem with anybody makeing money but he is parying on people who have lost there jobs and makeing them belive they can make a lot of money quick. The people you see on TV are paid.My advice to anyone that wantd to make extra money on the net is with affiliate programs, they are free to join and you don.t have to buy there web site just create you own free and ther are many places you can did this as I did.I am on limited income disability and I make extra money doing this very thing (you are not going to get rich quick) but yo can make money enough to pay your bills with out worry of loseing every thing. If you would like to learn more just go to my website and take alook http://myhomeincome.yolasite.com/ If you have any qustions fill free to email me at [email protected] ( I am not trying to sell you anything just trying to show people how they can do this with no cost to them as I did.
I just saw the Anthony Morrison infomercial and assumed it was a scam because it follows the same principles as typical slick pitches: claims amazing results, buy one/ get one free, order now and get blah blah, but wait, there’s more, etc. Billy Mays and other pitchmen use the same techniques, you’ve seen them a million times; think of how the Snuggie commercials are constructed. Check out the following:
http://www.onthemedia.org/transcripts/2009/05/22/06
Bottom line: buyer beware. A simple google search can save you money.
Thanks, guys. I almost spent $197.00 to sign up for the program. I try to be careful, but usually there is nothing to help before you are completely immersed in the scam. You really came through for me. I would have borrowed the money to join the program and the 90 day guaranteed refund of the $197.00, if I were not successful, would flown out of the window.
People. Haven’t you ever heard the phrase…….”If it seems to good to be true, it probably is” Very few internet jobs, if any, make people rich. People like Anthony Morrison are lucky. Somehow he was able to scam people legally and make millions for himself on a product geared to make you money, but really doesn’t show or tell you actually how to do it. This is his scam on how to make money……….It worked for him. It won’t for you. He’s made all his money from the suckers that believe this. It’s kinda like a pyramid scam deal.
Interesting,
I just watched this guy on TV and smelled a rat immediately, so I am glad I did my usual search to uncover the truth, and then add it to my scam reviews given no response for those who want refunds. TV says 30 day refund, but a refund is only as good as the company offering it.
When it comes to advertising and the internet, this is a fast moving target, and what he is promoting is not going to produce any results for the average person. Watch this free no obligation video on how to exploit a Google screw up, this one uses the millions Google has already invested, and now all you have to do is pick the fruit, simply amazing, and free to see. http://www.MobileWebCash.com

I too had called, but did NOT authorize the $39.95 payment and hung up. I checked my card & they already took it out! I called back & told them I did NOT authorize this payment! She told me it was too late to cancel & they would have to “review the phone call”! I told her to “Go ahead & review” it! & I too would be making phone calls since I did “NOT authorize it”!!! She told me to just send it back once I received it. I went to the post office today to “REFUSE this package” & they need to REFUND ME ASAP!!!!! They Won’t be making any money from their scamming books, etc. if they keep this up treating EVERYONE this way huh!!!!! I do NOT want to have anything to do with them!!!!!!
39.95 was misleading…how terrible! i thought i was paying 29.95!! But customer support answered right away and refunded the 9.95

I honestly don’t know what you guys are talking about. EVERY person from ANY tv show or informercial has a “scam” site like this one. If I did a search for scams everytime I thought about buying something, I’d never shop at all! lol.
I ordered the book back in August 2010 and have had NO bad luck whatsoever. No one tried to upsell me anything. No one took money out of my account without authorization. I think you guys are making this up. All you have to do is call your credit card company and they will refund you themselves!
The book IS just general information, but it was information I didn’t know already. I enjoyed it. My cousin bought 2 years before me and she is already making over $3,000 a month off of 6 landing page websites!
The Anthony Morrison coaching is FREE, IF you bought his book. I’ve checked it out and am about to enroll. The only money you spend is the price of your own PPC advertising. There ARE upsells once you enroll, such as personal one-on-one mentoring, but you can simply decline that.
I guess the one good thing about “scam” websites like this is it keeps MOST of the people out of the business of Affiliate Marketing, and leaves more money on the table for people like me.
Well did you enroll and if so what do you think now?
I called the Better Buisness Bureau and the first thing they said was scam and he has a F rating with them
I wonder why no one gives supporting evidence of anything they claim, either pro or con. I am not in support of this yo-yo , but the BBB does not have a rating on this company. Here is the BBB site that I got the info from.
http://www.bbb.org/eastern-michigan/Business-Reviews/internet-marketing-services/anthony-morrisons-advertising-profits-in-columbiaville-mi-90015149/
I feel extremely stupid for ordering the books, after all my parents told me about these scams today and I still messed up. Don’t make the same mistake as me. Remember nothing is free anymore. You have to work hard for everything.
don’t feel stupid his commercial are very powerful ….HE almost got me, lol…..but…you almost want believe it, but its all in the art of a good scam at the end .
My rule is whenever I’m tempted to buy something online or infomercial the first thing I do is go to google do a search for the person or products. Not after you buy it. It will save you everytime. You can take that to the bank.
My husband and I were going to order Anthonys book. We didn’t have the money, the nite we seen it on t.v. Got my unemployment check, was going to order this morning. Thanks to Every One for there comments. I wont be spending what little money we do have!!!!
I had a two conversations yesterday with Mr. Morrison’s staff. The first was from a fellow who said they were contacting interested parties who had ordered the book(s) but had never followed up. He requested to set an appointment for a sales person to call me. After a short discussion I agreed to be contacted that evening at a particular time. The canvasser then said to me. “I get compensated by people actually having the conversation with the sales person. Will you actually be available at the time we’ve set?” I retired from a 30 year sales career, so I have empathy for the guys that are trying to make a living. I confirmed that I would be available.
At the appointed time I got a phone call from a salesman. The conversation was polite, and I kept asking questions which he answered fairly well. He was offering a 6 month session of “coaching” by one of Mr. Morrison’s trained staff. But he also said there was a series of “interviews” with one of the “coaches” before I could be accepted into the program. I wasn’t really interested to be accepted into anything, but, again, I did not mind the conversation. At some point I asked how much the “coaching” would cost. I was told $3,300, but if I couldn’t afford that, they would initiate the program for as little as $500 with a loan from Mr. Morrison for the rest, that I could pay back when my “business” became profitable.
Then I asked (rhetorically) what if I wanted to participate, but did not want to put it on a credit card. He replied that a debit card would also work. When I suggested that I might want to pay by paper check, I was pretty amazed at the reply. He told me that I should not want to use a check because it might get lost in the mail, or that someone might steal it, or that it could get lost, etc, etc, etc. He went on for quite some time discouraging the use of a check. When I replied that I had been using checks for years, and never (or maybe once or twice in many years) something had happened to them, again he was quite firm that a check was not a good idea.
I have no idea whether the program they are selling is good or bad. But my years of selling taught me that “the customer may not always be right, but the customer is always the customer.”
The salesman’s attitude toward using checks made me pause and wonder. So I thought I should check this business out more thoroughly which has brought me to this website. Thanks for everyone’s comments, both against and for the business. I’ve learned alot.
I had my wallat handy to buy Anthonys his books etcs. you Gys just saved me money by providing feedbacks, love you all. I can buy milk for my 3 babies for a week with the money I was going to waste with this scam.
I ordered the book and then yesterday I got a call from a guy who wanted to know if I was committed and if so he would put me in touch with a “coach” who would walk me thru the steps to figure out what they are doing. Today he called me back and wanted me to give him $399 for what he called a $3,000 package, complete with advertising and enough help to make a profit within 30-60 days. But when I pushed him to be specific I could feel that he wanted to get to his next call. He denied that it was a scam and insisted that with a great deal of work the system DOES work but he no longer was going to let me talk to a “coach” until I had talked to the “Finance Dept”. I got the feeling that this guy bought in and now he has to recruit more people to make money with the program, and ONE other website said that Morrison was sketchy but admitted that money COULD be made with Morrison but that it was EXTREMELY difficult and would require a LOT of time, but he could be a “plant” as well.
I’m actually happy that I only had to spend $29.90 to find out that this is a scam. But the reason they are in business is because you COULD actually make money doing this and Morrison must have a good income from this or he would not be doing it BUT can others make money? Possibly! But it will take a LOT of time and effort and they never tell you HOW MUCH you will make, because they just don’t know. You might luck out and be so aggressive that you work 24/7 until you start making money AND you stick with it so that you KEEP making money. But is it worth the risk and having to kick myself in the backside for being an idiot? I think not.
Well, think about it like this, (and this is from a student with 2 unemployed parents) Anthony Morrison teaches you all the correct techniques to making this work when you start the program (MasteryEDU). But what he doesn’t tell you is that you are merely a pawn in his money making pyramid scheme. Anthony is at the top, with his Lambourghinis and such, while you are at the bottom. Anthony is artist, that’s what he does, we just have to learn to become smarter, and outwit his corrupted mind.
A scam becomes a scam when it doesn’t work, there maybe a few people who actually have made money out of this and they will never define this as a scam. Having said that, to me anytime you have to shell out thousands of dollars before you make a dime……is not just yet a scam, it’s a recipe for disaster. People see many things in this life as an “investment”, so they are willing to spend a little money to see if it’s “worth the risk”. Suppose what Anthony is selling is true and there are people out there who have made money this way, that doesn’t mean others will. Nothing in this life is easy, let me say that again, nothing in this life is easy. Sales jobs in particular are not easy, most people who are successful at selling will tell you it’s a skill that either you have or will never have.
All of these fools on T.V. sing the same ole song but always leave out the most important things. Why doesn’t the fool in question say that you will get a call from a “coach” asking you for more money (regardless of how much it is) in order to “learn” how to do whatever it is he’s selling?? I actually do make my living online, I am an options trader and let me tell you, it’s not easy. I have found a way to make my living by using my knowledge, experience, education and it works for me but that doesn’t mean I am going to go on T.V. and tell people that you can also do it by doing what I do or following my “step by step” instructions because their not. Most people will never be able to do what I do not because their dumb or lack the intelligence but because it’s just not in them or they just won’t like it.
Morrison is living it up and is able to sleep at night because he figures, if people are dumb enough to fall for what he’s selling then they deserve to get jacked. By now it looks like people are smelling what Morrison is cookin, so he is going to have to think up another way to make more profits for himself (scam that pants off people).
If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. I personally believe it is a scam, after trying so many things over the years I have become weary and cautious of get rich scams. I am look to make money at home and so far have found project payday which looks like it might be legit but still am investigating it.
Cindy i done that, project payday its alot of work….
I myself have been taken like this – but at higher dollar values. Remember Carelton Sheets? Spent over $200 there. As I read through this stuff – and not knowing much about real estate – I could see the phoniness in his “system” and his “techniques.”
We all get taken at some point in our lives. We are all looking for a better way and you should not feel badly. Consider it a lesson learned. Anytime you learn something – especially in survival tactics (like this Morrison guy teaches you), you will become a better person for it – AND CONSIDER YOUR SELF LUCKY in getting the lesson this cheaply.
G_D Bless us all. We know that we are all good people and will get farther in the long run than those that have tried to con us.
Thanks Dave. Your comment made me feel a little better about being such a big dummy like I was today for ordering this crap!
I know how Anthony Morrison got rich! By telling people of this wonderful way to get rich and then selling a book that is garbage. He is getting rich off people buying his book and then the seminars, wanting money up front. Good thing I read all these comments. I was thinking seriously of checking out the seminar here where I live. NOT
I feel like a big dummy because I ordered a little while ago and now that I’m reading this post…well…I feel like a big dummy! The commercial said the order would total $19.95 + $9.95 S&H, but why did the automated system state my total was $39.95? What the hell is that all about? I’m going to do all I can to at least make my money back no matter how long it takes since I’m sure I’ll never get a refund! Then again, I may just save the books for use in my fireplace next winter. Yeah…that’s a good idea. I really can’t go to sleep right now! I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW!!!
As always one should use caution when giving credit card info over the internet or by phone. One way to safe guard your credit card is to cancel out your card at least every 6 months. Also for on line purchases you can get a 500 dollar or less card from your card company. or bank. This way if your card is compromised you wont be out thousands. Americans tend to be too complacent. And never open emails from web sites or people you don’t know.
And always keep in mind will surfing the the net = Your IP address is also being viewed at this very moment by someone some place.
Use common sense. This con is not getting my money. Thank You.
FYI: You have up to six months to simply charge back the transaction on your credit card. All you have to do is call your bank or card provider and tell them you want charge back the transaction as you were not satisfied with the product. visa/MC/Discover/AMEX, doesnt matter. You have 6 months from the time of purchase. You will have to fill out a form for your bank or card provider but I think thats worth $39.95. This is what I did. Actually the Morrison people hit me 3 times for $39.95, and I got it all back by simply charging it back.
You know what is so strange, everyone is complaining on this board but the BBB does not have one complaint about Anthony Morrison. His business is rated NR (NO Rating). How can this be? I have been scammed enough to know not to buy anything from this scammer, but I can’t understand how after I read how so many posts that they don’t have one complaint from the BBB! That is one of the first places I like to check out as well boards like this before I purchase anything now days. There are so many crooks who don’t use guns anymore to rob you, but the internet. Please be careful, do your due diligence, do your homework first. That count on you reading or listening to their appealing sales pitch and giving them your money. They also make sure the initital price is not too much so you can go ahead and buy. If you can get thousands of suckers like this you too can be rich. Well it’s too late after they have your money. And if you have been had please help us all and go to the BBB and make a complaint if nothing else. Thank you.
Well I did the “smart thing and bought the book cheap on Amazon, so no calls from any “mentor” or any salesman looking to bring me into a program…I did this so I could check out the book and see what I could glean. I think the book is poorly written, but has some informative stuff in it. We’ll work these ideas myself and see what the yeild might be. I wish all in this forum great success in all you do.
If this truly is a scam, then I’ve lost a lot of respect for Mark Victor Hansen. Mark is the guy that interviews Anthony in the TV infomercial. Mark and Jack Canfield are the 2 guys behind the ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ empire. Mark is also a motivational speaker.
Looks like he have some of his goons posting fake comments in here!
It’s the allure of someone telling you they’ve found the secret. The truth is that all of these programs come down to a few things. Working hard, believing in what you’re doing, having the confidence to tell other people what you’re doing. The millions of people who’ve bought into these programs could save themselves the headache. Don’t buy into someone’s program, make your own. I believe there are a few things you guidelines you need.
I would recommend Tim Ferriss Four Hour Workweek as an introduction. At the end, he’ll give you the info and tools you need to start making it on your own.
The following is a breakdown of the steps I’ve taken and seen others take successfully. The trick here is that there’s a lot of information, steps and technologies that you need to be aware of, and a lot of tricks you can learn in the ‘advertise and market’ steps. Don’t buy into the bullshit of these people. If you want to get rich, invent something, or help sell more of something someone else invented. Learn how to advertise and market effectively.
If you have a good product to start, it will help all of it go smoother.
1.) Make a product
2.) Make a website to sell that product
3.) Advertise and market the website for your product
4.) Start a blog to write about everything you’re doing
5.) Advertise and market your website
6.) Turn your blog into a book
7.) Make a website to sell that book
8.) Advertise and market the website for your book
9.) Write more on your blog about how you turned your blog into a book
10.) Turn your book into a workshop
11.) Make a website to sell your workshops
12.) Advertise and market the website for your workshops
13.) Sell your book and your product at your workshops
14.) Write more on your blog about how you turned your book into a workshop
15.) Network with people who are doing the same thing
16.) Turn your workshops into a conference series, invite others doing the same to speak with you, charge $1,000/person
17.) Invent a new product… repeat.
I ordered the book..only after being contacted the next day after hanging up on the initial TV ad. Paid $19.95 for the whole deal. It only took a week to figure out this kid is a lieing sack of S–it.
Hey guy if you want to see the website…let me know. I’ll send u the url.
[email protected]
I bought the book. Received the book. Was charged in June 2010 for 29.95 and then i have been charged 29.95 every month since. My oversize for not catching the charge but today 4/09/2011 I have caught it and want to warn every one about the illegal charges. i am going to call their cs Monday and ask for a credit of those charges and if not then I will go thru my credit card company. Please be ware!
I just got scam too i want to cry because i lost my money to this man i hope he get whats comming to him. you all are right they just wanted more money when i wanted to know if the book tells me how to do it why do i need to pay for a coach. the thing about it is i usally look things up first too. thought since it was on the discovery channal it mite be real like the other man said who will give you the hidden key to being a millionaire..
these stories are so sad……………what the hell is wrong with us, in my opinion why isn’t this guy in jail? According to these stories he steals off peoples credit cards returns nothing then society pays for his cars, houses, etc….Get together people, do something, all of you that have lost anything should create a website and gather data etc…and then take it to the courts. there are a million lawyers who can help with this. calling people and taking money for services that are not going to be returned is criminal.
Thank you all for the information. After reading the comments I no longer want to purchase this program
