Once again we have Mr Hansen pimping more books, this one scared me because it came on right after the nightly news. Dean Graziosi is trying to get you to birddog real estate deals for others. With matching buyers and sellers you supposedly are going to make a ton of money. What is going on?
Dean Graziosi is known for peddling books on infomercials, amazon and other random places, he has sold advice since 1999 and trust me this is not to sell you a book. Dean Graziosi started by interviewing an auto mechanic about how to inspect cars before buying. This was “Motor Millions” that was sold for $59.99 as a system to buy and sell cars to others. Apparently when he was selling this “system” he started out broke, chose to work for his father at a small car business. This business failed, however in this newest informercial he started out in real estate in his teens, and by 20 was a millionaire, and was a multi-millionaire in no time.
He will let you know he does not want to charge you over and over, so that’s good, however what he really wants is your phone number so high pressure sales calls can start about getting you into a coaching system. This is the normal real estate deal, come see my free talk and sign up in my couching system. Arizona says his business is horrible with a F rating, remind you of other “systems” we have talked about in the past?
Dean Graziosi claims to have found a $525,000 house walked the property, did not get an inspection or anything just bought it as is for a near full price offer, this seems like bad advice because the buyer after you will want an inspection. Would you buy a house without an inspection? Not unless I am a contractor or builder would I do that.
When Dean Graziosi was pitching these offers in the mid 2000′s he wanted people to take out high risk loans and pack on debt that would make me scream. Right now he is claiming people should buy foreclosures and rent them out. Great but what about the fact that most foreclosures are in depressed areas that values have really fallen. He pitches using a website to get a value of a house, but it might not notice that the area is depressed, so without knowing the real value it’s stupid.
Apparently others have had a hard time contacting the “mentors” that they bought over the phone for $2000.00 bucks, this is ridiculous. We have all the warning signs about staying away from these deals, Infomercial, Testimonials about making $80,000 to $100,000 dollars right away, people claiming to be millionaires now just using this system and only making 5 or 10 deals.
With well over 200 websites pitching this propaganda it’s something to be wary about.

Hi:
I just bought the program from Hanson Report Advertising for Proffit and now run into your site that says it’s a SCAM.How can this Anthony Morrison set all this up if it is a scam? It should be against the law and we should be protected from all this on the web.
Micha,
The same just happened to me, I just recieved the book today. My thoughts are that I have tried other programs step by step and they have worked for me. While others naysayers would speak derragatorry towards the program without even trying or researching the course. The truth and the matter is that most people want intant results with minimum effort. I dont buy the “Its easy as pie”statement because on all other programs I have worked on, I worked hard enough to get to expirience success. Most of it is educating ourselfs, participating in industry events, reading books and marketing to say the least, it’s something that requires lots of mental focus, work ethic and a blueprint of personal objectives – Good Luck…let me know how you are comming along with the program. I am statting today!
People need to stop with all the BS!!! and try the programs, they do work or the FCC and FTC would have not allowed the to be on the air for as long as they have been. Further more NBC’s Dateline would have picked them apart like a 2 pound lobster years ago. You cannot get results unless you work hard and then harder. All of these programs are only systems and the results vary by your own will to actually do the work no one has real success unless they work hard FIRST.
I agree 100% People ususally want something for nothing but the truth of the matter is you get what you put into anything you do, Thats just the way of Life, So I believ it may work if you work it, God Bless all of you,…Amen!!!
Isaiah, I have put in over $10,000 and worked my hind end off with absolutely no results. The real estate market tanked and hurt everybody. I was scammed and my $10,000 in cc debt is now in somebody else’s pocket. All I am left with is debt that I am having a hard time paying back. All of the advice in the “program” only works in an ideal economy and a perfect world. That is the part they don’t tell you. Thanks for your comments.
Neither the FCC nor the FTC spend much time reviewing infomercials for falsehoods, and most news programs have juicier stuff to air, which is why scam after scam can buy plenty of airtime. Don’t depend upon the government to protect you from scammers; look how long it took for Madoff’s scam to break down. Do lots of homework before buying any of these products.
Apparently, none of these programs require the people who purchase to have more than a passing understanding of how to write or spell. That would disturb me, were I stupid enough to waste money on these kinds of scams. Good luck!
stay the hell away from a. morrison, and if anyone contacts you from the scam capital of the u.s., UTAH, record the phone # and alias name because they will refer you to a place called THE TAX CLUB, THEN PROMPTLY NOTIFY THE IRS ABOUT THEM AND HOW THEY ENCOURAGE NEWCOMERS TO LOSE MONEY TO AVOID PAYING TAXES SO YOU COULD PAY THEM INSTEAD AND THEN MAYBE THE IRS COULD INVITE THEM FOR A STAY AT CLUB FED!!!
Dear Matt:
Good job pointing out the way the scammers work.
I think in the US, every child should be given a “How To Identify a Scam” course.
Scams are so rampant those days….that many, many times things that on the surface may look legit, can be absolute scams.
There all those multi-level marketing companies that make bold promises and talk about downline and waste people time…
I think you should link your site to another website that helps consumers stay away from scammers….in fact, many internet marketers such as Frank Kern, Russel Bronson Joe Vitale are already featured on this website.
The government only does something when the scam stinks too much…it’s up to us to learn and protect ourselves.
Here’s the link to the SaltyDroid website:

the problem is that people don’t understand that you can’t buy a book and then think that because you read it, you are all of a sudden going to be rich. the advertising for profits system is a just a how-to guide for affiliate marketing. you can find all the info online for free if you want to spend the time or you can save time to buy it. affiliate marketing is a very good way to make money but most people buy a book and then never take any action. it’s the typical scenario once again. ignorant undereducated people who will never understand what it takes to run their own business and can only make money buy punching someone else’e time clock get confused and do the easy thing when they fail due to inaction- call something a scam. if spending $19.95 for a anything is going to devastate you financially, you have more problems than you think anyways. the advertising for profits thing is something i always knew anyway just by learning online. if you want info on affiliate marketing, look at clickbank.com or commissionjuntion.com. all affiliate marketing means is advertisig for someone by driving them to their website and when they buy whatever product or service is being offered, the owner of the site pays you a commission because the customer came from your efforts. if you can’t understand something that simple then you are better off working at taco bell because you’re may not possess common sense. :)
Great observations and common sense Christian. It is important to educate one’s self. Nothing comes without working for it and getting smart about what you’re getting into is basis knowledge. I recently started a business and I’m working my tale off studying and learning all about my target market. It’s the same with a physical business as with an online business.
Matt
This BS has got to stop.Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows you have to work and apply the knowledge from one of these syste.ms for them to actually work.As far as the Dean Graziosi real estate products I have looked at dozens of success videos etc.None of them have claimed they have made the amounts that you are claiming they report.80,000 to 1000,000 dollars right away!I have looked and looked and have NEVER seen any claims even in the same neighborhood as what you are alledging. If you have any links that back your claims up then post them!
hey if you make a dollar off of this then its a dollar morethan you had!!! THATS MY OPINION!!
I am watching one of the infomercials right not and it absolutely gave figures such as $750,ooo of a couples first 8 deals. It also gave many many more examples of people making that much and more . With this knowledge at his disposal why would any legitimate business man give it away or sale it . Why wouldn’t they start a company that makes all the millions for themselves . It just makes no sense whatsoever other than it is not legit and that the only real money to be made is from his books and any other money he can milk from you. Do as you want if you give him your money no matter if it is only 20 bucks you deserve to be out the money . Do you see big oil companies saying “Hey look everyone can make money off oil and for 19.95 we will show you how” ? We have people with oil and there are people who want to buy oil all you have to do is hook them up and make money in the middle and the best part is that you don’t have to by any oil just make money. Now why on earth would any legitimate company do this ? I don’t think anyone would pass up the chance to make thousands of dollars at a time to make 19.95 at a time if it were straight up . Just what i think …
I agree with u that it is a scam. However, it is smart for the author of this book to give away the knowledge. It’s kind of like the piramid effect. At the top is the author of this book/ owner/ rich bad business man. Underneith him is us, the people being scamed & putting money in his pocket. He already made his fortune, now he is working on his ‘retirement.’ he is trying to get continous money without alot of effort. Yes this product/ information may work, but it works best when there is little to no competition. But by the time it’s on tv or advertised it’s too late because everyone who buys this book is compition with eachother. You may make a few grand, but for all the time and energy u put in you could instead use that time and energy to go to college or advance your current career which will give u much more then just money; selfsatisfaction and peace of mind. But either way good luck!
Be WARY not WEARY. COACHING not COUCHING

It’s a laugh how many paid employees saturate google results for “dean graziosi scam” with their crap pretending that you’ll make money if you work hard enough blah blah blah.
Here’s the thing from someone who’s educated: People that make money legitimately don’t need (or want) to go on TV at 3 in the morning and peddle a book for $19.95 that’s “filled with their hidden secrets”. If they were trying to be altruistic, then why not give the book away for free or at cost-to-print? Dean needs a reward for his efforts right? Yet he keeps saying how he’s a multi-millionaire.
“is it a negative person in your life holding you back?” Um…yeah…it’s called a voice of reason and you need one holding you back if you think you’re going to make money with these scams.
I am looking for anykind of jobs, job with flexiable hours. and this job is perfect hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.
Try working with the developmentally disabled. There are employers in just about every county and they offer very flexable hours & are always hireing. I am a military spouce & moving every few years & have never had a problem finding a job. Search ur local businsess that offer developmentally disabled assistance & see if they are hireing… & on top of it they don’t require u paying them any money. They pay for ur schooling.
Do they pay for literacy and spelling lessons? As a “flexable spouce” I wold hope that spell check might be part of your life. Anthony and Deans crap do work. Unfortunately! However they do not give you enough info to make them work.
As someone in the IM world I do make money from affiliate marketing. But I have spent hundreds of hours and invested thousands of dollars in my education.
Believing a huckster like Hansen can lead to frustration and a loss of any investment that he has sucked out of you.
@Anthony No unfortunately you cannot rely on the FCC or the FTC. There is SO much trash out there that while not outright fraud, is a complete waste of money.
When you click on the link in your blog that says Arizona gives him an F rating it leads to the Better Business Bureau website that says he has an A- rating.
Yes it appears he has settled several complaints out of the blue.
actually you are wrong. i clicked on the link went to the BBB site and this is what is there:
Better Business Bureau has requested basic information from this company but has not received a response. As a result, Better Business Bureau may not have current information about the company.
Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of NR Reasons for this NR rating include:
This business has no rating at this time.
I agree with much of what has been written here. I have read much of Dean’s book, not the whole book but quite a bit. I think he gives some great direction about how to get houses and find people who are facing foreclosure. He basically casts a huge net with his message and lets it do the sorting which is a smart idea. I personally decided I was not about to go put signs up all over town or record a long message on tape. It was just not for me. Things may be changing with foreclosures now anyway so some of that information is outdated already! I do think if you work at it you could make money.
As far as affiliate marketing goes, you can find the information on line for free. Wikipedia is great for information!
Network marketing is a legitimate business that can make you as much as you want to make. Donald Trump would not have a network marketing company if it did not work. Most people quit before they ever make any money because people do promise them it is easy, just get two who will get two etc.. It does not work like that but if you work it you can make money. The problem is people do not really want to work! They want to win the lottery and none of these business models is a winning lottery ticket!
My personal friend owns a piramid marketing company similar to what u are discribing. I once asked my friend how much he makes. He said, “the last time I checked it was $50,000 a month. And yes his several mancions show it. However the difference is that him & his good friend STARTED the company 20 years ago. Which means he is at the top of the piramid, therefore everyone below him on the piramid is making money for him. I would guess that Donald triump is close to the same position on the piramid as my friend. So yes, marketing piramids do work… But they work and get the results that are advertised (20,000 dollars a month) but only for the people near the top of the piramid. Therefore, rule of thumb; if u didn’t START or have a friend that started a piramid marketing business then don’t join, otherwise u work extreamly hard only to put the bulk of the money in someone elses pocket. Eitherway good luck.
Krystal
I just wanted to say that Piramid Schemes Are Illegal Maybe Im wrong but that is what I have heard. I believe what your friend has is called an MLM or Multi Level Marketing Business. Not to sound like a Know it all I just wanted to let you know what I have heard. Take CAre and God Bless……………
My husband bought Deans program. We have been getting phone calls about paying out some extra thousands for extra couching and we will get it back once we sell some amount. I am not on board with this. My gut won’t let me, so I am the bad guy at home. We haven’t even had time to read the book yet. I am trying to research this programs validity. I never fall for informercials, I rarely watch TV, no time. Like I said, my husband ordered it, I have never watched the informercial. Do they tell you that they will ask for more money once you order? I am not falling for it.
I’m so sorry. But stick to ur gut. Read the post a few below IRS about the lawsuit and closing the bank account. Then have ur husband read it.
Dean (Or whatever her name is), according to the research I did, provides a valuable service to those who need him….You see, fools and their money need “direction”, or said fools would just waste their money at Walmart and KFC……Dean offers you a DREAM, whereas, Walmart and KFC only offer you heartburn with crappy service, AND you have to keep going back….. Send Dean $19.95 and, overnight, all your woes will be a part of your past……Look, idiots AND smart people are wasting their cash with this dolt…..The two surefire ways to screw with rational thought in a human being are greed and lust……Now, since people don’t seem to be convinced Dean is not really a Deanna, I don’t imagine too large a portion of the population would let their lust for him/her interfere…….So, this leaves GREED…..Greed makes people do stupid things, and people like Dean just offer DIRECTION, in an effort to get fools and their money back on the right path to success.
Then there are the rest of us……We are the ones who have a tough time giving our phone numbers to some of our own family members, let alone Dean and his matchstick men…… As for a valid credit card number?……ARE YOU FRIGGIN’ KIDDING ME?
….. If I approached you on the street and said I would show you how to make $50,000 in a few days, but it would cost you twenty bucks for me to tell you, you’d probably pick up the pace to get away from me…..The first thing you’d ask yourself is, “Self, why would anyone who has the information to make that much money not just do it themselves?”……”The rest of us” can’t make it past this one flaw…….It’s simple logic.
Now, if anyone is interested, I have an email address for this guy I met…..He lives in London, and has this member of Saudi royalty he knows……You see, this royal family member is heir to an estate which is currently tied up in legal action, and he only has access to a once-yearly payment from a trust fund with the estate…..What he is seeking are “investors” willing to carry him until his inheritance comes in……..It sounds like a great deal to me…….Wadda you think?
Well said!
You say the Arizona BBB gives Dean an F. When I followed the link you provided to the Arizona BBB review of Dean’s business, they in fact give him an A- rating. Please explain.
That was explained above, he settled a lot of claims which is good recently. I have learned I will take a screenshot from now on.
Funny scam from a funny looking chick. I’m not falling for it.
I purchased Dean Graziosi book. Before I could finish reading a very well executed sales promotion convinced me to purchase a mentoring program. The program was very vague and the mentors were difficult to contact. I gave up. I am not saying success is not possible. I am saying this was not for me. Now I am facing a lawsuit to pay the balance of a program I do not want and could not use. I had to close my bank account and change banks in order to stop paying for a program I could not afford and that was not user freindly for me! I did not ask for the money already paid returned, I just wanted to cancel additional payments. I paid $850 so far for this difficult lesson. They prey on people that are in dire straights and desperate to try anything to get financial relief. I ended up with financial grief. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
i just bought hanson report it was suppose to be 19.95 plus 9.95 for shipping after they already had credit card info they cgarged 39.95 bull , i did not say i would pay 39.95 it was suppose to be 29.95 … now scared it is a scam
you can call your cc company and file a complaint, but you must do it in writing and reference the infomercial.
BEware .. this guy and his book are a HORROR show.
I’ve never had the pleasure nor the intent to try to buy or read any of Dean Graziosi’s real estate books, but one thing, one thing only I am really curious about is, “WHY DOES DEAN GRAZIOSI HAVE EMPLOYEES?
I mean, think about this for a second. This person pitch about his great books and many ways in which people can profit from REAL ESTATE. If these deals are so great, WHY AREN’T HIS EMPLOYEES TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ALL OF THESE DEALS AND QUIT BEING A 9 am – 5 pm TYPE OF EMPLOYEE? CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THAT TO ME?
very good point! if the rewards were so great, all those call center people woule be out there buying houses! VBG!!
HAHAHAHA AINT THAT RIGHT WHEN I CALL THEM MILLIONAIRE PROGRAMS I ASK THEM WHY ARE U WORKING APHONE FROM 9 – 5 and they give THAT JOKE RUN AROUND OOO I WAS PLANNING ON DOING HERE HAHAHAHA YA WHAT AJOKE
My grandpa told me years ago. If it were that easy…why isnt EVERYONE doing it?
I’m not very proficient in the ways of the “Scam Industry”, but I don’t consider myself the dimmest bulb in the house either.
I don’t really know much about Russia or what goes on in Russia, but I’d be willing to bet that the people that live in Russia do.If I need financial advice, there are advisors for that need. Why not contact your local Real Estate agents (people who are supposed to be experienced in that area and be able to have a head start) and see If they are involved with it or if they would recommend it. HELLO! : )
Can you recomend some real programs.
Have any of you considered buying an English grammar textbook or a Dictionary? The sub-literacy of the comments on this page, including the original post, remove any doubt as to the genesis of this scam’s success.
lol Hey Man I have a Kolledge Ejukashun I resent that remark
When we are poor and desperate for money, we are a vulnerable target and easily lured into all kind of scams. And they understand us well. The reason you bought his book the first place, because you heard the real live stories he told about his poor friend and his own brother. The stories that you want to hear. The entire advertising interview, we heard nothing about how the book works but only his success stories one crap after another.
As a former buyer for a national real estate investment company, I can tell you that on the surface, Graviosi is right- there is a legitimate way to make money in real estate without using your own money. Absolutely, 110% correct. However…
…finding situations like that require a Perfect Storm. I did it full time for nearly three years – ’07- late ’09. On average I physically saw 15 houses per week. I put between 40 and 50 per year under contract. Do the math. Tge seller must have equity and be willing to sell at my numbers- not theirs.
Most of those contracts I would “assign” (sell) to other investors. These investors were cultivated and wooed over time. On average, we made $22,000 per assignment. On average the investors I sold to made $38,000 per property they bought from me and flipped. They bought houses from me because I was making them money. They knew that I had seen the house, knew what work to expect to do, knew approximately how much the repairs would cost (with labor) and the AR value of the home when they were done.
This is not a process you can do sitting at home on the Internet. You aren’t going to find motivated sellers with right situations on a list. You certainly aren’t going to find investors online in today’s market.
My old boss had a saying- If it were easy to do, everybody would do it.
I worked 70 hours a week, driving 200 miles a day to find 50 deals a year. I saw nearly 800 homes a year and more than 700 of them weren’t deals at all. It can be done but it takes tons of work- assessing properties, building relationships with investors (after you find them), working with the sellers / investors / attorneys to get to settlement. It’s not easy, but it can be done. You’re not gonna learn what you need from a $20 book or from a free 4-hour seminar.
You wanna pay me $2000, I’ll spend a couple days with you showing you the ropes, going on “buy” appointments, talking to investors. My point is, you have to do it to learn it. It’s not a classroom skill set…
Good luck!
Deans system works. Money dosnt fall out of the pages of the book though. If you are not motivated, then it wont work. You need to read the entire book and apply what you feel comfortable with. If you sit on your ass after reading the book, I guarentee you wont make money, but, if you try, you stand the chance of being successfull. Too many of us want the easy road to big money. NEWS FLASH, there is none! Buy a lotto ticket, I say to you…because that is about all the effort you seem to be willing to put into your future.
The system , plus due diligence and motivation, has gotten me 3 rentals with $800 to $900 pos cash flow mothly(Thats after operating costs are paid) and I will be closing on three more rentals in about a month hopefully. Make goals for yourself and get off your asses, Good Luck.
Marc and Andy are the people to listen to about the business no matter what it is you are willing to invest in you need to talk to the ones actualy doing it and proving whaterverit is works. Not beeing burned so many times that every one that even sounds like the last one that burned you, you call it a scam.
How about the site we are all on now all the advertising that this person receives and the kick backs, which I think is ok you take the time to create something you should receive something for your time, right! Did this person invent advertising, No! we all realize that. If someone is selling you something you check it out just like we do with cars, houses, etc.
I have read lots of coments on realestate. I have been in the foreclosure market for a while now cleaning them up and rehabing them while other guys are making the money while the banks and the preservation Co. rip every hard working business man off.
Now the market has turned on its head and every one is running scared and others are trying to take advanage of every corner to sell what has worked for them- past, present or with a twist. I have met investors of many ideas they all sounds the same but always with the twist that works(ed) for them or sounds like it could.
A friend of mine who is in Germany right now at his brothers wedding is an RE Investor that has great ideas that he uses and works for him that he has share with me for free but he has also sold me his programs that he uses in realestate. Realeste is not the only thing he likes to do but he also would like to retire one day.
You know as I do- I get it- this is the information age and if you want info you might have to pay for it (Your time, Hard money, Sweat and sometimes your blood) I know because I to am a business owner/investor are’nt we are all investors in life?
I will not speak for others or do motivating seminars. I know I do not have the answers to this life but I have to survive till it’s over just like all my friends and people I just meet. We live in unsertan times for sure and we have to keep our heads about ourselves.
Like any crisis people have always looked to see if money can be made out of it. Real estate has always been one of those vehicles that has made money for people but when the economy changed so did all the traditional way to aquire realestate and like cars everyone that bought one before the crash drove off the lot and now many are upside down in it including those easy investors that now have and are beeing forclosed on also.
Look around the country many people are suffering and people want to see if they can make some money off the loss of others. It is the way things have been from the beginning of time. There is nothing wrong with picking something up dusting it off (make a little money for yourself if possible) so the next person can call it a home, at times just do not forget your neighbor in need. I see good ideas in a lot of things I come accross but that is just it untill you can say you tried all the angles and compared it with what is working then that is all it is AN IDEA!
Thanks All
Have success in all you do or do not do!
This message is for the poster above… Marc. I would invest the 2K for you to show me the ropes. I believe the books have great info in them, but you need to apply real experience to it as well. Let me know.. Lets go look at houses.
Peter
I am an attorney with experience in investigating fraud.
I have not read Dean’s book but it screams scam. A capitalistic business exists to maximize profits. Doing so involves having trade secrets and increasing market share (in other words, reducing competition.) For example, does Coke sell its recipe for 29.95 what about the recipe to McDonalds fries? They do not, because a monopoly is better for the bottom line. If Dean had some profound secret,he would not increase competition and settle for less than .0001 profit margins. Look at absolute terms; if Dean can make $50,000 on a piece of property but sells the option at $29.95, he is effectively just giving a person $49,970.05 out of his pocket. Has Bill Gates ever done this?
The reason Dean does this is because he knows that selling a book will make him more money than he can get in the market.
Someone above mentioned that if Dean was a fraud, the Government would shut him down. This person apparently never read the First Amendment to the US Constitution. The government will only intervene if the person is selling a product or a service. A book is neither and is largely immune from regulation. (same concept with Religion.) Smart con-men know this and arrange their businesses accordingly. There is a long list of convicted felons flowing into 1st amendment protected enterprises to avoid law enforcement.
It is true.
Dean’s Real Estate course is a scam. People don’t sign up with it. You’ll loose your $2,000.
I never really believe any of these infomercials because it is usually too good to be true or else everyone would be doing it. Being an internet marketer myself, I already knew what this program would be about which is search engine marketing. All that he says is true, yes you can get your website ranked in google and make money when people buy your affiliate products. Yet, he doesn’t add that it isn’t as easy as slapping a website together, it is a hard task and you will need to study internet marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO), keyword research, competition analyzation, and more. I’m sure he doesn’t mention any of this in this so called report. You can join many marketing forums to learn exactly what he is teaching and more for free.

One thing for sure and two things for certain…there is a never a shortage of critics in this world. Everyone wants to know how to get ahead in life and have fullfilment of the dreams…but for most, the purchased book on the subject of interest delivered from an experienced author is never opened or read. The books, tapes and CD’s are carefiully placed in the sacred museum as a collectors item.
Most all of these products will deliver results…some better than others, but you have to use them as intended. A car is useless parked in the garage.
The problem being that people want to share their new purchases with friends and family. What happens next is the ritual of finding all the reasons why it may not work instead of all the reasons why it will work. PHD in faultfinding! They may brave it once and if…it doesn’t work because that have “short cut” the steps, then they want to cry foul and fraud…Blah blah blah. Send the book back and shut the piehole. Maybe even a case of rant to the media who will cruely distort just to sell a story. These are masters of drama attention.
The methods outlined in your book absolutely work, but are not a get quick easy scheme as dubbed by the critics, but rather a blueprint of various creative real estate methods that have proven to work, with an exerted effort. It takes work and effort to make any business succeed. These books describe various deals…one at a time. Even a fool knows it takes time for each deal to evolve. This is not a real estate “drive thru” of loading the car with “get rich quick cash.” For those that have been trying from 2007, hey…let’s be honest, the whole real estate market has been rocked and yesterdays methodology will have to adapt to the current trends. The fact remains that there are still multiple means of creative real estate that work and are lawful. The law simply states what you can’t do rather than what you can. Wrongful interpretations of law are plentiful…
In my opinion, the very best method of earning money in real estate is with options and assignments, whereby you are merely selling a contract right to purchase and not the property itself. The risk is low and the reward is high with little cash outlay. A $10 deposit for each property is piddly. Forget the short sales, they take too much time and effort for now. There are also plenty on “no wanters” out there that can be had for pennies on the dollar that can be rehabbed or sold to an investor. I got a property that had a small fire for $4K in taxes since the seller had been made whole with the insurance claim. I invested $16K and resold for $80K. It took 2 months of work and was well worth it. Does that sound like a “get rich quick” scheme? Not so! Most people work 8 hours and sleep 8. That gives you 40 hours a week plus Saturday to find just 1 property and assign the option and make $5K…or more. Is that less than you are making now?
Turn off the TV and put on your creative thinking hat and get out there and get involved. Read the book and ask questions. You have to get out of the boat if want to walk on water.
This is all sheer lazy complaining that these age old real estate techniques don’t work. Agree to buy a property low and sell it higher. It’s called capitalism.
If you do what you always done, you will get what you’ve always gotten, and to do the same thing everyday and expect different results is…insanity. While the critics babbled on…the smart people were enlighten and moved forward with courage and were not dampened in spirit.
Scientists have long proven that the ability for bumble bees to fly is scientifically impossible. Reason being that the wing span is not long enough for the mass of the body. I would have to assume that the bumble bee is a fraud and the daily work of cross pollenation and all the other hard work to produce a quantity of honey…is a quick get rich scam because…the critics say so? A world of educated derelicts.
this grasiosi asshole is a first class scammer and a faggot. he has been in trouble with the law before. everything he says in his ads is one big fat lie. he even lies about his past. so fuck yourself you asshole!
In the capitalist system inside the United States the guiding principle ,from economics 101, for consumers of goods or services and applied by the courts in disputes is “caveat emptor” or let the buyer beware, a principle in commerce: without a warranty the buyer takes the risk.
This explains why scams like this are not routinely aggressively prosecuted by the government until they become a big problem noticed by an outraged public and then scams like this turn into a political issue that can make an attorney generals political career take off.
Kevin Mark Trudeau: infomercial salesman, and convicted felon best known for promoting alternative medicine. A number of his television infomercials and several of his books, including Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, allege that both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the pharmaceutical industry value profit more highly than treatments or cures.
Trudeau’s activities have been the subject of both criminal and civil action. He was convicted of larceny and credit card fraud in the early 1990s, and in 1998 paid a $500,000 fine for making false or misleading claims in his infomercials. After being incarcerated for fraud in the early 1990s, Trudeau joined a multi-level marketing firm together, called Nutrition for Life. They met with success until the Attorney General of Illinois charged them with running a pyramid scheme. They and their company settled cases brought by the state of Illinois and seven other U.S. states for US$185,000
Our system of law and philosophy of economics puts the burden on the buyer of goods to investigate the worthiness of the goods offered for sale. Out right trickery is frowned upon and can be prosecuted. Deception and fraud have remedies in statute law in the Uniform Commercial Code, the bible for people engaged in the buying and selling of goods. Unfortunately, a merchant also has a right to “puff his wares” and”make exaggerated claims regarding the product for sale. Most common law courts have upheld this principle and have allowed merchants to declare their goods as the best most effective whatever. This is where the gray area comes in and muddy s the water.
There is also the case of Don Lapre, Lapre was wanted after he failed to appear for his June 23, 2011 arraignment. Lapre was indicted on 41 counts including conspiracy, mail fraud, wire fraud and promotional money laundering.
He’s accused of encouraging people to sell worthless vitamins, defrauding approximately 220,000 victims out of $52 million.
Lapre made all sorts of outrageous claims about the vitamin in infomercials run on the web and on television, up to and including that it could help curb or cure diabetes, heart disease, strokes, insomnia, cancer, and arthritis. He was a modern day snake oil salesman in the truest sense. And now, finally, he may be going to prison for a long time after he was arrested June 23, 2011 by U.S. Marshals after living for a short time as a fugitive.
Lapre was often seen on television giving his hard-luck life story and how he was able to turn his life around. He refers to himself on his website as “The King of Infomercials.”
These principles in law account for the hesitation of law enforcement to prosecute every scam artist that comes along. It takes years for government prosecutors to catch up with these people and government prosecutors might look the other way for an extended time if political office holders get sufficient campaign contributions from these snake oil salesmen.
That’s our system warts and all. Capitalism and cheap oil energy is still the best system around and has provided us with one of the highest standards of living in the world. But unrestrained capitalism leads to monopoly after monopoly and no competition leads to low cost of production and higher prices for consumers. Right now our system is out of balance. These TV scammer’s are the small fish, capitalistic guys like George Soros, Rupert Murdoch and Michael Bloomberg and all the other billionaires are the real pigs at the table, their billions of dollars does not buy toys it buys political power and the ability to manipulate and define your reality through media that they own and the reality of 300 million other people, things like open borders and no enforcement of Federal Immigration laws wheter you like it or not.
We feel for the victims of these infomercials yet we are still subject to being conned through propaganda and the official government view of our world, do you really believe in government statistics, or that there is no or little inflation in the system, or the real unemployment is less than 10%, or that the fundamentals of the economy are sound. People scammed by infomercials are not the only victims of scammers. Caveat Emptor, my friends, nothing is as it appears to be, beware we are all suckers in the end.
I believe you also have something to sell
Isn’t it really the urge to reproduce and leave some silly legacy that urges us onward to greed and lust? It seems that people no longer live to live. To enjoy their time here. Strange creatures you are.
So, I should believe a twink like you. You must be so much better because you are interfering with this other person’s offerrings.
Is it taking sales away from you? Poor Baby!
Believe me, this is a scam. This pin head made over 12 million selling his books, not investing in RE.
I read another review where someone compared him to Anthony Morrison. I don’t think there is a bigger crook than Morrison. He most certainly belongs in jail, and there’s people working on doing just that.
I would strongly suggest avoiding Dean, or any of the other ” gurus” selling their crap on infomercials. Trust me, you don’t have a chance. They are making millions, selling you books. Which all the information contained in them is available at the public library, or online. Where do you think they all get it from?
Just getting your money back almost requires a lawsuit.
Like another said. ” Wake up America .”
People are hurting, and this is when the real creeps come out from under their rocks.
